Any chance anyone out there have a steering rack for sale? Dave@DDMWorks ?
Not sure how to tag UAS. I know they cut a lot up and end up with parts

SlingSC it was good meeting you and hanging out with ya watching all the slingshots cruise Maggie Valley.
For those who don't know, this guy has probably the most immaculate slingshot I have ever seen. Very nice ride!
Does anyone have a show shirt from this year's SSITS (blue one) that they would be willing to part with? Large or XL
I didn't get one and would love to have one since it has the red, yellow, white slings.
We have a African Gray she is a real talker. Seldom shuts up. We love her.
Our Grey was a real talker too! And mimicked all kinds of sounds...our driveway alarm, microwave, police siren(from video games), the list goes on and on. Our Cockatoos were soooo loving! That breed bonds on a different level than the other birds we have had. They take a special person to care for and tolerate them. Their squawk is super loud and if they think you are giving attention to someone else, they are going to be heard. Lol
Sadly, we no longer have either of these guys.
We are packed and sling is on dolly and waiting for dog sitter then we are on our way
15% alcohol?? Bill Martin 'S toothpaste is stronger than that. ⚗️😁
There is so much to see and do that you can't do it all...Vendors, music, lots & lots of planned rides, autocross. There will be LOTS of different Slingshots from stock to highly modified. Talk to people, make friends...if there is a mod you are considering (roof, seats, steering wheel, or anything else) you will surely find someone who has it and will let you check it out first hand.
Minor mod...had a Friend make a windshield decal for me. SC Slinger dalton202 yall think it will help? 🤣🤣🤣
Happy to help with the NA tune, it is a really nice addition after doing the exhaust. Let us know if there is anything we can answer or help you with.
Dave
What is the turnaround time for this? I am local btw.
I want to add my opinion to this thread. I went with the 1320 v2...it IS loud! Even with the smallest/quietest baffle it is still loud. As Eric stated, it actually is quieter while accelerating a bit. I ended up modifying mine a bit further using a motorcycle insert baffle. This did get the sound to a more tolerable level but you can definitely tell that it is more restrictive . It's just part of the trade off we face...better performance but loud, or less performance and quieter. I feel I have made it to a center area between the two. Now to talk with Dave@DDMWorks about his N/A tune.
drive up hwy 276 to Caesar's Head overlook
walk through "Devil's Kitchen "
Since we have people from all over here, I thought I'd share a spot that is somewhat local to me. It is the overlook at Caesar's Head. It is in the NW corner of SC in Greenville County. The roads to get here make for a great ride. The views are spectacular. The walk to the overlook is very short and easy from the parking area. You can return to the parking area the way you came or by going down the stairs through "Devil's Kitchen". There are nearby hiking trails and some waterfalls that can also be taken in by visitors.
This is an old spring that is on the road up to the overlook.
Anyone know what Sam Owens is up to nowadays? I think I watched all of his Slingshot vids.
My entry. She's always a dirty girl.
Not today, but part of a 300+ mile ride on Saturday.
A small portion of Moonshiner 28...from Warwoman road, down the mountain towards Walhalla, SC
Traffic Update for those coming to Maggie Valley by way of I-40 TN into NC.
NC Dept of Transportation has torn down the Harmon Den (Exit 7, NC) bridge and is completely rebuilding it. The right lane is closed at the 5 Mile marker as you come into NC from TN on I-40. You must use the exit ramp at Harmon Den (Exit 7) and immediately cross over to the up ramp on the other side. One lane continues for several miles. Not sure how traffic will be at time of SSITS. We rode over there today and only had to slow down to 30/35 mph, moving, with little traffic. Have heard on 30/45 min. delays and longer. (Knoxville to Asheville)
When we went camping, it was this way also. Just a slight inconvenience...traffic continued moving
I started out in the quad kit thread and somehow fell into the Insurance thread. 🤔🤣
BKL did you do the replacement yet? Any tips? How difficult?
