Misty, aka SuperGirl is one of the slings in our local group, she has a special needs daughter who celebrated a birthday today. Huge turn out and bash for Tara which was awesome. Misty organized a slingshot / classic car parade with her daughter at end of the driveway - so did that this afternoon. Then headed to Fountain a bit south of us for another sling friends birthday and just got home. Little rain on the way home but wouldn't be a Colorado slingshot ride this year it would seem without some!

Basically your buying a contract for a market that will either resolve yes/no. Cost is set by market so .01 - .99 and when market resolves the winning side gets $1 per share. I used to make a killing betting on # of tweets per week, but those markets dead. I thought these were bags as I bought when accusers first came out months ago and that shifted last week with AG comments. Was able to sell half and buy those resign shares cheap to turn it into a better win. Course I could of lost more too had he not resigned...

Nice! Hope it lasts! Your experience may vary, but don't hit with a "tire shine" type spray. Turned mine yellow looking vs white and then had to clean off (power washer did it). I'm back to black for now!

Step 1 - get the quad kit... lol for me anyway. I need to get eyes on it and see how it's all mounted break wise. I really think it shouldn't be too bad though to modify a pair that would work for the front for the back. My guess, need to see it. I'm waiting on a set I won from LiteTheNight to show up, but hoping between the ones I have now and those I can make both front rings work. More concerned about the lights, but really think it's just splitting the rear light with the other and hope there is enough power!

I'm a few months away from ordering my kit unless Dave has a crazy deal...wink wink...lol So maybe someone will come out with a kit by then!

Another car show as it was literally a mile away and wanted to support the American Legion club as this one in particular does amazing things for vets in the area. This is really why we do it right here in this pic. At one point they all three had phones out doing pictures and video, but I was trying to catch a pic of them and not freak out their parents and only got this one. Kids just had me smiling with all their comments (that rear wing thing keeps it from flying it's so fast, I bet it does 200 etc...lol). If we don't have plans or a ride planned and the show is close - even if no classes for us like this one, count us in just for moments like this one.

Thank You Sir! Definitely one of those more "show" then "go" type helmets, but the kids all seem to like it!

Went to a show n cruise tonight in the Springs. Smoke was so bad today/tonight it was crazy - couldn't see mountains and as we were cruising with lights on it looked like we were driving through fog. Didn't want to smoke two packs of cigs driving around but feels like I did....

I'm pissed at this moratorium - one property I have is almost 2 full months behind now... Lease states it's $20/day after the 3rd of the month. Even with not charging late fees correctly (I stop charging as soon as some payment is made that month even if not full) they owe over three grand now and I can't do much about it....

Totally get why some landlords have slum lord tendencies. We saw folks taking $100 application fees for over 200+ applicants and then running a handful they liked to pick their tenant. We never did this, but probably will have to now to recoup some of this loss. Also only doing six month leases with auto-renewal to month to month. Raising rent 30% because I thought make a little and getting good people was better - shorter lease I can raise rent more often. Late fees from day 4 forward until full payment regardless of the tenant story....Time to make this a business and not personal. Maximize profits so I'm more prepared financially for this kinda crap. Demand for rentals is as insane as housing and about the only time you can do this crap.... I really wanted to do the right thing, but getting screwed like this just because of a moratorium is BS....

I think it has been going on and social media brings light to it. Funny was also thinking this goes on all over but only in places like this where they actually care and run strings are they even trying to address the problem. How many other big cities don't do this and just deal with it once folks are victims. Sickening for sure...

Little update on this one... the answer was none of the above...

When our side by side (kawasaki mule 4x4) got stolen a month or so back now and insurance finally paid out (lot less than it was worth with today's prices)... we had given up on replacing it with a real side by side due to prices... Well wife found one listed in South Dakota and the owners actually live in Peyton, Colorado. So verbal agreement to buy, they are brining it out here in a little over a week as they had a trip planned anyway.

2019 Yamaha YXZ 1000r SS - 234 hours and 1218 miles - has a crap ton of mods on it already like dual battery, 4 points, magellan gps / engine dashboard, stereo, storage box, interior pads/storage, etc... and the list goes on. Learned something from the sling, better to buy one already modded out if it has mods you'd do anyway. 19k is a good deal to me as the 2019's had all the improvements like relocated radiator, fox shocks, 1st gear ratio change, advanced shifting on the sport shift and so on... We almost ordered one of these at end of last month but $28k for a 21 model with no mods was just too much to swallow...

So nope didn't solve my 3 people and 1 sling issue... but between wife and son they decided this was better than another sling/trike so works for me!

There is some truth to that... I can stop for hours for lunch or gas and BS'n etc... and it won't do it. Park it overnight and wake up the next morning and I see the spot. It's almost directly under overfill tank distance wise from front, but closer to center of engine bay at rear of engine. It's also not 100% of the time... maybe closer to 20% will it mark it's spot. Really weird - got some real hose clamps, just need some time to wrench on it!

Curious what you find... 2018, DDM tank + hose kit. Dave put overflow hose on so don't think it's that. I used OEM hose clamps when I put kit on. Won't overheat, but after running for awhile and heat cycling 3+ times it'll "burp" like that on my garage floor. Takes 2-3oz (guessing) give or take to refill, like bottom of bubble on overfill tank to leaving a small air bubble type fill. Been dealing with it for awhile.. when I pull engine to do the clutch this fall going to redo the clamps with real hose clamps to hopefully fix it.... maybe sooner on those two hoses in back I think might be the culprit and then take stock clamps off if I can do without redoing fluid!

Called Bosch today or Bosch Automotive Service Solutions - they actually don't go by Bosch anymore think it was Universal now. Anyway, good news they have the two parts I need. Bad news, they won't sell to a non-dealer. Called the parts dept at local Polaris dealer (they don't offer laser align) and he's going to try to order them for me. Hoping so or I have an expensive laser paper weight!

I saw a homeless man & I asked him if I gave him $20 would you buy booze? He said no he hadn't had a beer in years.

Then I said if I give you $20 will you buy hunting gear? He again said no, he stopped hunting 5 years ago.
So then I said I'll do you better than $20. I'll take you home let you all cleaned up. My wife will cook a fantastic meal for you. Then I'll bring you back & still give you $20.
He asked me won't she get mad? I said it didn't matter.
I just wanted her to see what happens to a man when he stops drinking & hunting!
