I am now thinking that a taller, look through, windshield would be needed first? Also before heading for bed last night I did make one last ride with the wind restrictor and also mounting our sissy bar bags that go on the roll hoops in hopes of blocking that air, but that made the turbulence even worse. I did initially head for the garage this morning to raise the back of our MeanSling Sport Top to see how well the restrictor would work in this configuration, but since our main goal with this was to quiet down the turbulence in the passenger compartment while riding our preferred topless, this seemed to be just too much work just to try to make the wind restrictor work. Before our planned early morning near freezing ride this morning I just reinstalled the top in it's current position which already makes the ride warmer and more comfy, though some what confining.

    what windshield do you have?

On a side note...I haven't driven the auto...but it's not an automatic transmission. It's a clutchless, stickless, syncromesh automated manual. I don't really know how it compares to modern Automatic transmissions as far as shift speeds and all that...but it's technology taken from late 70's Maseratis...so I can't imagine it is the greatest "automatic" set up.

Having the automatic I can tell you that it is not the automatic in your car. I for one expected it to be different anyway. I kind of have fun with it. I now am able to judge when it is going to shift and help it along. You know how in a car playing around your automatic would back off on the gas to shift from 1st to 2nd hoping to make it feel like a manual. I kind of do the same thing with the automatic on the slingshot. I can actually make it shift a little smoother that way.

I really don't mind it at all. I'm the kind of guy that really like things being a little different. :)

BTW: if you have the automatic as we do I was concerned about parking on a hill with just the parking break holding it. I found out that if you shut down with it in gear, it will stay in gear like the manuals. Then when you go to start it will shift to neutral.

I went out in it yesterday to get the 500 mile service. The dealer I bought it from paid for it because the did not rest my passcode. The first one has to be done by the dealer so they can pull the code from the computer. I’m having issues with a dealer having the right equipment to do it. The 2 closest dealers near me don’t have the equipment.
I am finding out dealers don’t know much about the 2020’s. I’m also trying to figure out the connection for my phone. I finally have it synced to show contacts, but when calling on my iPhone I have an option to use phone, speaker, or “when connected” Slingshot. When I hit slingshot it will go back to the phone???

I just got my 2020 Limited Edition. Going through and connected my phone via Bluetooth. When going to the contacts it seems they did not transfer over. Also I cannot hear the phone through the speakers. The manual does not say much. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

We were on a trip to Charlotte NC to see the Nascar race last weekend. Dropped by the Polaris dealer and walked out with the Grand Touring. Since we were in the motorhome, the wife drove it 550 miles back home. Guess we need an oil change. :)
