I love mine that I got from Slingmods. Only gripe is I wish they were brighter. They look really good at night but if there is any residual light around they are hard to see.

Won't the forced induction hurt the handling? I'm more about the twisties so NA is the way I'm going for now. Face it these things are never going to be rockets from a dig because we only have one wheel putting that power down. I'd rather have fun on the curves and show up the bikes and cars in the mountains because no matter what I bolt on I'll never beat em or most performance cars in a straight line. Just my opinion. If I ever eventually go forced induction I'd supercharge her for sure though.

Dealing with it is one thing, that looks like a stress crack. Any thoughts on what caused it? This is the first time I have seen or heard of this happening....

Still under warranty? I would run this by Polaris just to see how they handle it.

Nah it's a few months out of warranty but they wouldn't do anything about it anyway. I took mine up to dealer while it was under warranty for the screws snapping off in the plastic trim near the base of the windshield and Polaris said they wouldn't cover it. There is an issue with the plastic trim on the hood getting brittle and breaking. I'm sure the engine heat has a lot to do with it. I'll just do what others recommend in here. That's why this place is great.

Was cleaning up my Sling today and noticed this crack in the plastic trim. Anyone dealt with this before and was able to fix it without replacing the entire trim piece? It you replace one you might as well replace both then it gets really expensive. Just looking for ideas

Purchased mine April 8th 2016 and been here since May of 2016. Met some nice folks here and gotten a lot of great info and ideas from this place and it's caused me to spend a lot of money on SS goodies.

mine does it too and it's starting to get on my nerves. Cleaned it and it gets better for a couple days. Think I need an adjustment too. Let me know what it runs you at Coastal.

Powder coated my wheels black. Truth be told I've always wanted the black wheels on my Sling. Looked at a couple sets of stock wheels for sale but it was just cheaper to powder coat plus it looked better and they powder coated the lug nuts red for me as well.

I just installed those in my Sling this past weekend and they are much brighter than the LEDs I was running from Cycle Springs (which had burned out a couple of cells BTW). Just need to get mine aligned badly. The center lights are plug and play. The outside lights can get a little tricky. I recommend you take the stock metal back plate with the two screws out and mount the included sleeve with the stock clip. That could get really tricky trying to do that inside the small light housing. Once you get that mounted back in you just have to use the stock plug and remove the stock blade connectors and replace with what comes with your new light. Plug it in and your good to go. Thought it was weird that you put that stock rubber boot back over the light while it has a running fan on the back. Gotta get hot in there. Also what you get is not what you see in the pic. The outside lights are no longer the longer rectangular block with the 4 LEDs. They look just like the headlight bulbs on the tip now. Just 2 LEDs on all the lights.

Any of you all ever lost your cruise button? Went to engage the cruise yesterday and the button is literally gone. Not in floor board so I guess it fell out of Sling. I hope that's not one of those items where you have to order the entire stalk and switch. Ugh.

stock heat shield gave me fits the last few months. Had to be aligned just right or it would give me rattle fits. Also check those exhaust springs and make sure they are good.

Is that the new SSO / Twist Dynamics horn?

I asked them about how loud it was and the only response I got was "We don't have that information"?? WTF?? A horn and you don't know how loud that is? That's like saying you have an engine but don't know the HP.

So, how loud is it? I would presume louder than stock, but not as loud as train horns. Possibly louder that the Wolo Bad Boy??

Yep. You pretty much nailed it. Louder than stock but not typical air horn loud. Sounds about the same as most Bad Boys I've heard.
