Merry Christmas all,🎄 I would like to take the time to thank everyone in the forum for the great help and ideas this year, I am truly blessed to have such a great SS family here on the form!
Merry Christmas and hoping you and your family will have a prosperous new year!
I Headed about 35 miles north to visit mom and dad at the Sarasota national cemetery. 🥲 what a Beautiful day for a ride this Christmas Eve it only got up to 83 degrees and a bit cloudy.
got restless this morning and tackled a few projects I’ve been wanting to do. Made a new placard for the glove box, covered up the Sparco name on the steering wheel, and wrapped the ugly runner up the tail fin in carbon fiber.
going to be a rough week in FLA!
what’s this salt stuff I am hearing about on the roads? The only salt we have here in Florida is in the ocean, and on the margarita glasses.
Ride safe my friends, Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!
Damn Straight!
Or crooked. Or whatever...
looks good from my house?
Oh shit, this went where?
no worries I got out the hammer!
cycled it several times, went for a test ride and no leaks, coolant right where it is supposed to be.
Should’ve bought the hose clamps for the side, not happy with the zip ties! Oooooo DDM...... I need a few more things.
What's you're plan there? And Bob was my dad.
where I might go with this? Bob’s a good strong name he must’ve been a great man!
That's next level. Star fighter! I saw that you got all those horn buttons working but I'd really need a pair of phasers with that setup. Set on stun of course...
slingLow if phases were an option, there will be no idiots driving on the road, lol
Now put on a 320mm steering wheel and you'll think you're in a race car!
fresh off the 3-D printer to see if I like the shape and size, if so a little metal fabrication and Bob’s your uncle! Lol

Will this work?
just bumping the thread
I just installed the short throw shifter from DDM, wish this would’ve been my first mod! Took it for a test ride tonight, you can bang through the gears with incredible speed. Everything feels tight and precise!
I am more of a cruiser than a racer, but with this it makes me wanna play, LOL
well worth the money!
Key West or somewhere else?
siesta key Florida, we’re lucky it’s only about a 35 minute drive. The ride there is also fantastic.
Among the other projects I’m working on, this seemed the easiest to do. The new steering wheel came in last night, I rewrapped the orange stripes in carbon fiber vinyl. Decided to leave the white stripes alone, for now. Maybe red? I was able to hook all four buttons up for the horn.
OK, so nobody’s feeling the https://www.evanscoolant.com/ waterless coolant? So I should Just save my money and replace it with required coolant, that is what I’m taking away from this Conversation?
been checking the Internet, found good old Sam Owens did a video on it! Part of a video where he changed out the hoses.
I just bought the silicone hoses and expansion tank from DDM in the black Friday deal, and I am in search for the best coolant. I have searched the forum but only can find a post from a year ago on what coolant is the best to use, it ended in a heated discussion on what should be used with no clear answer and dexcool causing gasket damage. I ended up searching the web there has been a lot of controversy over the dexcool (Orange coolant) causing damage to the engine gaskets, further research points to the problem being fixed around 2009 by GM using new gaskets that were not affected by the dexcool. That makes me feel confident that my 2015 should have no issues with dexcool!
But I am still wondering what is the best coolant to use (brand)? I came across this website https://www.evanscoolant.com and this coolant looks incredible it does not use water as a component, so no chance of corrosion. Nice video on YouTube from Jay’s garage on this product.
I was wondering what the experts opinions were on using the evens coolant, or what would be the best to use when I refill my system.
Thanks for the help, you guys always point me in the right direction..
