Getting ready to get new tires but torn between the NITTO 555 G2s or the BFG G-force comp 2 A/S. Can anyone justify which one I should go with?

I've had both and the BFG has WAY better traction and is just as quiet on the road and does not squeal as much when it spins. I'm comparing the stock size (255). The 555 seems to have less tread on the road in comparison to the BFG, which may explain some things (maybe go wider than stock).

Seriously cannot recommend the DJI mavic pro enough

Ditto. It's really the only one to get in the $999 US price range ($1525 CAD if you're wondering).

Make SURE to get the DJI Refresh if/when you purchase. Ask me how I know it's a good deal ;)

Anytime, would be great to get out for a ride. Are either of you going to SSITS?

Love to, but it's 14+ hours for us, and I would spend WAY too much money on accessories if I went. Also, I have an irrational fear of bad weather in the Slingshot (mostly due to trouble seeing the road in the rain, not hydroplaning).

Muskoka this summer works for me though and, it will be interesting to ride with others. To date, I have not seen another SS on the road around here, so we should fix that!

Hi @WasagaSling I'm 15 minutes from the border and can bring them across and ship them to you from Canada if you like. Feel free to PM me and we can figure out the details.

Holy shit man, that is VERY generous of you (dangerous for me though, ha-ha)!

People on this forum are simply incredible!

Now that is a possibility. I have an Aunt who lives close to the Blue Mountain Resort. Won't be this year, but may make that trip next year.

Cool. I'm just a half hour from Blue Mountain and it's a great drive. Maybe catch the Wasaga Beach Motorcycle rally if you can. This year it starts July 14 and goes for the weekend. Only two Slings there last year (drawing crowds), but I suspect we'll see more this year.

Sorry it does not include Canada however we ship usps to keep the cost down.

    OK thanks for that.

Bringing parts over the border with our 13% tax, plus brokerage, gets EXPENSIVE on top of our shitty dollar.

Wasaga Beach isn't exactly close to a border unfortunately. Great country to Sling in though

Yes, it's AWESOME riding around here and Muskoka. Everyone is welcome to join us (after it warms up a bit)!

@rabtech Thanks to your suggestions, I've lowered the tire pressure and am finally getting the Nitto 555 GS (stock size) to hook up a little better, but it's still not as good as the stock Kenda. Weird!
I have it at 22 psi cold now (25 when hot). Can I go a little lower without worrying about it unseating the bead, or overheating?
    Thanks in advance!

I put a Nitto NT555 G2 on the back after the stocker wore out (8000 km/5000 mi), and I have to say I'm more than a little disappointed in the traction. It rides MUCH smoother than stock, which is nice, but has even less traction. It definitely squeals more on take off, but I have to be super careful not to light it up at every intersection (stock engine). It will chirp going into 4th now, not third like the stock Kenda.

Running 26 lbs in the front stock tires, and 28 in the rear right now (started at 32), but will play more with the rear pressure to see if I can get it to hook up at all.

Is anyone else not happy with the Nitto on the back? I'm currently looking for a wheel to fit a 335 or so.
