It is my understanding that the Autodrive is just the standard transmission that is shifted using a hydraulic pump system. This is one of the things Polaris wanted to replace when the shifting into neutral was happening. It wasn't it was the software and the computer was just getting confused. So my shift points are done by the computer and not my foot and right hand. This work fine for me and I like it. I used to be able to shift my 58 Chevy standard tran with out the clutch by hitting the shift points just right.

My 49 Chevy was like that. Going from 1st to 2nd to 3rd was easy.

3rd to 2nd to 1st was very touchy. "Grind me off a pound while you're at it!."

But, it was a 49 Chevy, so who cared? If you carried a rusty vise grips, a coat hanger or some No 9 wire and a roll of black tape, you could always get home.

When my Alzheimer's kicks in, I'm going back there!!!

My wife and I had a 1961 Rambler American ragtop. Cute little car and fun with the top down.

Traded it on a 1966 VW Beetle, our first new car. Only year it came with a 1300cc engine. Price on receipt for the Beetle was $2002.06, including AM radio, hand crank sun roof and a tach.

Anyone notice this on the last page . . . "Vehicle shown is the gas powered version."?

I checked their market price. Closed 10/12 at 0.661 per share.

Looks like a race between Elio and aguam-ev and P T Barnum.

Lake Wales isn't to far, about an hr, from Orlando. There's a great little place to eat called Cherry Pocket. I'm sure there are some back roads to get u there

If you're going to be in Lake Wales, don't miss the Bok Tower Gardens. Highest point in Florida.

Ask a local to show you where the street where gravity is reversed is.

Was wondering if there is any good riding near the Orlando FL area my Lady and I might come down in Dec?

If your in the area, you can waste an hour or two on Nova Rd, State Road 5A. It runs across Deseret Ranch, which is owned by the Mormon Church. There is not one single light or stop sign. No businesses and no on or off roads. Just two lanes, cattle, a few trailer houses and cowboys. There is a lot of wild life, if you're lucky. Many hawks and eagles. There is very little traffic, so plenty of time to watch for wildlife. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. Just DO NOT go wandering around. The Mormons do not take kindly to anyone on their land (the road is fine) without their OK. A fellow was fishing on the west side of the property and strayed onto Mormon land and was fishing in one of the small lakes. Up rode two "cowboys" complete with rifles in scabbards. Long story short, he ended up doing community service for "trespassing" Chances are, you will never even see them. Google "deseret ranch Florida".

Just be careful driving in Central Florida. It's almost a whole other country.

My last day was in mid February 2005.

I have never regretted retiring. I missed the people for a long time. Kept in touch with some even to this day.

    You're going to love FREEDOM.

whent into a furniture store up in Washington State about 25 or so years ago - in the back of the store they had a very large section of furniture that was supposed to all have been made by Amish furniture builders - - I can tell you that stuff was built to last very heavy and solid and easy to tell it was all solid hand cut wood

Actually thought about buying one of the desks, it was great, but the shipping would have cost a small fortune

In all of the years since that day I have never seen any store selling that kind of furniture again, and I must admit I have still never figured out why a store in Washing State even had Amish built furniture - - - are there actually Amish in WA???

You're too far away, but if you google "Amish furniture Harmony MN" you see some really great furniture from 3 or 4 different places.

Short ride around the back roads of Elma, IA. Amish worship service must have been over. Passed at least a dozen one horse buggies in clumps of two and three. Slowed WAY DOWN to pass. Courtesy. PLUS a spooked horse is worse than a mad bull.

One of the buggies had three little kids looking out and waving like crazy. I would have stopped and offered a ride or at least a look, but I'm pretty sure Mom and Dad would not have been happy. They have their believes, and every one of then that I have ever been around were good people. They don't preach and I don't push my ways on them. For all I know, they could be right.

I felt the same about Trump until one of the debates where they called out Ben Carson (my first choice at the time) and Carson stayed. Then they called Trump, he stayed besides Carson. They continued calling everyone else, then Carson again and he came out then Trump.

That was a quiet moment that showed that Don had a metric shit ton of class. At that moment I started paying attention to him.

Not only did Trump do better than any democrat, but Republican as well. He was our Reagan.

    Lord, forgive them.

If California were a separate country, it would rank as the world's fifth largest economy, ahead of India and behind Germany.

They don't need us, we need them.

Were they stupid or was there another 3am spike? Another instance of boxes of pristine ballots being scanned multiple times? I posted a link of reports of people being turned away from polling places because they allegedly "already voted", and we know what happened there.

Soon we will probably see reports from poll watchers about strange goings on in Cali. The media is already calling them "baseless accusations" even though (obviously) they have done zero investigations.

    "Zero investigation...."

    Call in Rudy.
