Lived in Kissimmee FL in 2004. Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne went thru. 7 to 10 days with no power for each of them. Thought my days on earth had ended when Charley went right over the house. Scariest thing I have experienced.

Enough. Moved back to Iowa in 2005. Give me a good old 20 below blizzard any day!!!

Sounds like something crashed while loading the drivers for the thumb drive. If it's bigger than 16gb, it may not be able to read it properly. I know there was talk on here months ago about 8gb vs 16gb drives. My 2019 came with the 16gb stick, but some technicians told people on older models to only use 8gb or smaller.

No clue if it will fix it for you, but a thought.

Might also try re-formatting the usb and copy songs back to it.

Just did that. Will see what happens. I'll let y'all know.

I put around 100 mp3 songs in two directories on the Polaris supplied thumb drive. Plugged it in and saw the song list on the screen, but NO SOUND. Tried pushing a few buttons, but gave up.

When I switched back to FM mode, there was still no sound. I pulled the thumb drive and the sound came back on the radio.

Any ideas why the thumb drive would kill all sound when plugged in?

When you get everything all lined up, dust a bit of BAKING SODA on the glue. It INSTANTLY hardens. No more holding the parts together.

What windshield and/or top do you have?

    Stock SL. No top.

I did pull out to pass someone and thought the engine had died. Looked at the dash and saw the squiggly line thingy was lit. Guess the traction control did not agree with my driving choice.

My wife and I took Scout (as in, "Get 'Em Up Scout") to Mason City (IA) Powersports today for the 500 service. It started a very light rain about 15 miles before we got there. Rained all during the service and then REALLY rained all the way home, around 50 miles. Around 30 miles on 4 lane and the rest is two lane back roads.

We had a couple of the cheap ponchos along, but the wind kept them everywhere except on us. When we got home, we were as dry as if we had taken the car!!!!

The SS was filthy, but we were dry. On a motorcycle, we would have been soaked. Amazing.

Can’t believe somebody tried this again - this bridge is 5 miles from my house - bout 10 years ago a guy tried the same Dukes Of Hazzard trick on the bridge I can see from my porch (I live on an island). if you could see these draw bridges how somebody thinks they can jump em is beyond me - and these guys weren’t even coonasses :00008172::00008172:

So, apparently, there IS a cure for stupid.

Saw a white SS in Waverly Iowa yesterday. Came up behind him and honked. Left arm shot up and got a nice wave.

The odds of two Slings being in Waverly at the same time are not very good. I should have bought a lottery ticket.

While scrolling thru the center information display, I noticed the Check Engine and it gave a 520230 code. I called the dealer and they want me to bring it in and leave it. No idea how long.

The code is supposedly related to the power steering, HOWEVER, internet searches show it can also be for putting the key in Accessory mode before going to Start mode.

I was a bit put off that they offered no "loaner" of any kind, especially since I live 50 miles from the dealer and it will mean a two vehicle trip both times. Maybe I'm just used to getting loaners from car dealers.

What is your experience with the code and/or loaner vehicles?
