Does anybody know if adding aftermarket lights will void factory warranty? For example, I want to add a brake light modulator and eventually upgrade to LED headlights.

I ask because a buddy of mine bought a bunch of aftermarket lighting for his Spyder and brought it to the Can Am dealer for installation and they told him that it would void his warranty. I was just wondering if Polaris was the same....

I've always worn a helmet, even in Fl. where I don't have too. I guess I got used to it. Florida was not always a helmet free state so I have been wearing one since I was a kid.

I can see where somebody just getting into cycling and trying to wear a helmet for the first time would find it cumbersome and uncomfortable but for me it is second nature. I normaly wear a modular full-face but think I am going to switch to a half helmet now that I have the SS.

Swag. lots and lots of swag, branded merchandise. Maybe a publication of DIY articles and member rides on a monthly or quarterly basis? Thats a tall order I know since you would need writers etc.

Yes! On the rainiest weekend in South Fl. history ( just kidding but it did rain almost non-stop), I pulled the trigger on a left over Electric Blue 2018 SLR. No good pictures yet because I barely got it home before the real heavy rain started and it has been tucked away in the garage since I brought it home Saturday afternoon.

I had a ball driving it home so I think I made the right decision!

Checking in from S. Fl. I'm currently researching and contemplating the purchase of a Slingshot so I've joined a couple of forum communities and started watching Youtube videos. I won't bug you too much with questions since I know how to use the search function.

I've ridden motorcycles all my life and even had a Spyder a couple of years back but looking for something a little different. Thanks for having me.
