Well, buying a rain suit as insurance against rain did not work. The good news is, the rain suit worked very well.
I didn't have to worry about washing my Sling, it got washed very well for about 5 hours tonight, stormed on me 5 out of 7 hours of riding.
I'm half way to MV.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't think the Autometer Dash uses the OBDII Port, it comes with the remote sensors to connect things manually.
-
Anyone have any experience with this? https://www.autometer.com/street-dash-0-3-10-5k-rpm.html
Just glancing at the setup, looks like you could put this in a sling, it's kinda pricey though. Summit has it for $1350 and you can get $150 on mail in rebate right now, so it's tempting to get an all digital setup. I'm tempted, but not enough to pull the trigger on it, maybe later on.

LOL
Mine is still taken apart in my shop, waiting on amazon for my part, so I can slap it together and get on the road tomorrow.
It's got bug guts all over it from my last ride, I want to detail it, but what's the point right before a road trip? May just spray it down and get most of it off and then detail once I get to MV.

IIRC, there is a good place to park next to the river there in Jasper, on the east side of town, but it's been a few years since I've been up that way. It's not the Buffalo river there in town though, just a tributary.
Beautiful area, love taking scenic 7 up from Hot Springs to Jasper.

First farm truck was 4 on the floor, but my brother had a truck with 3 on the tree initially. Loved when that linkage started acting up and it got stuck in a gear

Granted, you can use adapters or wobble nuts. I'm not sure if I'd trust them personally.

Very cool, glad it worked out. If the heat at the transmission gets to be too much, I have these https://www.slingmods.com/pola…y-status-racing?vehicle=3 on mine, the back of them has a heat shield. I haven't gone on any long trips with them yet, will in a couple of days.

I would assume that they will not be centered and since our lug nuts are typically tapered, it's going to put side pressure on the lug bolts. I would not chance it at all, just not designed to go together.
-
Given that it's only 2mm, I'm not surprised it fit, but were all of the lug nuts centered?

A few things happening at the fair grounds, from the web cam view.

Agreed, it would be a must buy for me if I won the lotto!

Everyone, this is my first time here. It is so unbelievably beautiful. People here are so polite which is a far cry from Boston. People see your Slingshot and drive over,
politely asking questions. Men tip their hats to you. People say please and thank you. And the views! It’s like being in another world. So many slings here already. This is going to be a fantastic week.
Welcome to the south, most of us are polite

Guess at least one of them has them in stock

kev, why the hell didn't you have this cool shit out when I was shopping for a top!
Also, you gotta find a sacrificial SS to do rollover testing with

Easy is a relative term We'd need Dave or someone else that does these to chime in. Rab may even know the labor involved.
