I think I will stick with the two side stickers. They fit nice and you can read them.

On the SS I think I will have the logo turned into a grayscale image. Or just a black and white image. And then use it.

It just looks kinda neat to have a bit of color on the black and white. That is why I posted the picture.

@rabtech I agree that the color might be too much, I added it anyway to help advertise, but would prefer blue or grayscale.

Go bag is packed and sitting by the door... appears to be about 982 miles.. might have to drive around the block twice more to end up with an iron butt award. Oh wait, I have PRP SS seats, not sure that qualifies.

The first unit will go on mine. Not because I want it but because if anything goes wrong I want it to be my unit not someone else. After that we will still need a handful of guinea pigs to help test and those initial kits will be discounted and installed free of charge if you can get your machine to our facility.

I could make that 1,000 mile drive, depending on release date/season.

Even the flat screw replacement is not a guarantee... dealer replaced my cover under warranty as the screw had almost worn a hole into it. I then replaced stock screw with the flat screw. I noticed the other day that a scratch had appeared again. Its a minor scratch, but still noticeable. Checked bracket and found it bent. I asked the dealer to replace the brackets/pads with the new style bumpers (there is a Polaris Team Memo on this) and they did. I decided to purchase the Jmod clear cover, so that has taken care of this happening again.

I agree, remove the screw, 3m tape that sucker down.

So, All in all I think maybe the smaller windshield would have worked better for a couple reasons, the heat inside the cabin, and 2 the inability to see over the tall shield in heavy rain.

I had the Madstad 9 on our trip through to the Grand Canyon, it was a life saver. Fully raised it provided bug/rock protection and airflow into the cabin. Down, it allowed me to see over it through the snow/rain that we went through. Glad to hear the comments about the roof, been considering a top, just figure anything in this Texas heat would be a help at this point. I wrapped the bottoms of my cup holders with heat tape and shoved them back in there... if I could find small pizza's to stick in there I could cook dinner going down the road.

Sounds like you all had an awesome trip.

Just installed the Nitto 555 after 8500 miles. ($130.00). Wear bars where already flatlined on the Kenda and I'm sure I had nothing to do with it :D . I could have most likely got another 1500 miles out of that tire, but when it is the only thing holding my ass on the road as I corner at the suggested 30mph speed... I did keep the kenda's on the front for now, looks like they will last another 10k or so. I stopped by the dealer to ask for price for Kenda for rear. $270.00, not installed. Your kidding me right? I don't want the tire and wheel, just the tire. Nope, just the tire. LOL No freaking way Polaris!

So you all can tell by the number of posts that I have, I am a huge lurker. I love to read each thread, just don't comment as much as I should, I suppose. @rabtech You have created a great site.

How about a sticky explaining the benefits of becoming a member or something that pops up when the cookies say they are a new arrival?

Why did I sign up when I could just lurk and read? Could be I wanted everyone to remember me from the dark site, No... had about the same number of posts over there as I do here. My main reasons: 1st of all, I love it to track my ability to hit the unread post button, because it knows who I am. I like the ability to look at the members, to see who they are, area where they live, what their subject matter expertise may be etc, etc. Now one would assume, you have to be a member to view the members. Perhaps I'm wrong, since the first thing I did was join the site when I arrived.

You must be member to leave a comment, correct? Hey, its a simple, no cost, not time consuming, leave a fake name and make up an email address that he won't sell to every vendor process if that is what you wanna do.

Turn the paranoid button off, Rab means no harm yall!

ps I say the Rab means no harm, not because I personally know Rab, but because I've read hundreds of his posts that have been nothing but helpful and always for the greater good of the Slingshot community.

    Tom

I need to retire from some hobbies I do believe, I can't even keep up with reading this forum.

I'm an amateur radio operator (K5WTT), forensic hypnotist, scuba diver, Mason, Lion and I like to discharge a few rounds of ammo down range. @Astrolite That is an awesome looking light bucket! I had a real good friend that took me down to the Texas Star Party a couple of times, it was a really cool experience.
