Now I know why my clock doesn’t work...it’s out of gas..
See thats why these Forums are great,,, You can learn something new every day...By the way the clock uses 93 octane if you use 87 it will void your warrantee.. ...

So far i haven't gotten too many stupid questions ....One really sticks out, One guy asks me if its street legal ....I said no, But i know all the cops so they don't bother me..But when i had one of the first Spyder's in NJ [2008]...Every stupid question was asked...While i was filling up at a gas station this YaHoo comes up to me and asked is this an electric motorcycle?...I said yes it is, But the clock runs on gasoline thats why i'm putting gas in the tank..
It's a device to get any one who wants to drive one to lay off the donuts....
Kinna like a Jenny Craig program with wheels...
Guess it has been some time since you took a subway in Brooklyn
Yea, I moved out of Brooklyn in 1969.......But i worked in Manhattan till 2001...I drove in every day, This way i didn't have to sit next to the Great Unwashed..
Just eye candy for Polaris ......Like they say in Brooklyn....That and 20 cents will get you on the subway...
I haven't had my S/S That long, But i won't cover it at any time.. My Motorcycles when i parked them for the winter i just coved them with an old sheet...My Trikes i rode them just about everyday in the winter, And hopefully i can ride the S/S all winter also....Gonna find out the first time it snows, I'm thinking with the fat rear tire, It might not get any traction going up my driveway , Had the same problem with a Spyder i had.. My Tri-Glide had no problems in the snow..3 inches or less...
I have a 2001 Polaris explorer 4 wheel drive and also a Yamaha Rhino side by and And both of my Sons have Polaris side bye's also and thell go anywhere on our 13 Hundred+ Ac. Mostly lumber trails and some swamps...And with all the rain we've had this summer some of the trails are 3 Feet deep of mud..And you don't stop when you hit the mud, Just floor it and don't stop or your walking back for our bucket loader to dig you out..Been there and did the walk....
There aren't any M/C inspections in NJ.....And when they did have them Pre 2011 it was a joke,
They were mostly interested if your helmet was DOT and had enough reflective tape...
@hunter There is a base under the dash that you have to install by removing the radio that secures the windshield support. This is held on with two bolts from the top and two locking washers and locking nuts from inside the radio compartment.
I know that.....And it [The plate] comes with the Polaris medal windshield brace for safety reasons,
If by chance a heavy object should hit the windshield the brace will not rip off....Its medal mounted to medal..And pre drilled and threaded to attach what ever to it...And at 75 dollars a bargain ...IMO...
The Polaris windshield brace comes with a medal mounting base plate that gos under the plastic that the brace bolts to, And not just to the two push pins ....
I take Umbrage........Umbrage i say....
You can get a ticket for backing in a space. I did when I was 16. Its called a Facing Violation. It was on main street and the slots were angled so you can easily just pull in. At night we used to go to town and I would back into those slots so I could sit and see who was going past. Well one night the law pulls in front of me and give me this ticket. He explained that in order for me to pull out of that space I would have to pull forward directly into the flow of traffic.
I always back into a space.....[Handicapped]....I get a kick out of people walking around my S/S checking my license plate....
I had the factory GPS in my Harley, and in my Ram.....They can't be programmed while in motion....
And its for your safety......
IE: Some dipstick is reprograming their GPS while rolling down the road in their F 350 right behind you in your S/S.....And you stop for a red light......
I was in Manhattan that day, Like every day.....Words can not describe my feelings....
Pissed off and anger mostly.....
A clean ride is an un-riden ride........
You do know, That years ago in an interview he said that making the Smokey and Bandit moves was the worst thing he ever done....I guess his agent didn't think to get a cut on the toy market for him...
I can't tell you how many people when looking at the S/S emblem on the hood, Ask me if thats a Tesla....
I even convinced one guy that it was, I told him look at the back... Do you see any exhaust pipes...
I had one of the first Spyder's in NJ....And i got stoped quite a few times by the cops....And every time it was out of curiosity....Like what in the hell is that thing, Never got got a ticket or a warning ,Like i said just Curious........I was asked by a local cop after i just parked my S/S where is your helmet, I said sitting in the seat next to me....We had a friendly discussion as to if a helmet is required if the S/S had a roof , He reads the requirements as yes , I read them as to be Ambiguity at best...And thats where we left off..
Do they have a sister company named.....The Sunshine Carpet Cleaners...
Goo be Gone........Removes stickers glue ,Even stickers that have beed sun baked in for years Without any damage or any trace of glue, And as an extra bonus your ride will smell like oranges......
