Cig plug between seats
In glove box -- high to the left... not a very good pic.
EjFord anyone can be a Celebrity governor of a state that is flush with cash. However as we are seeing across the nation and here, experience knowledge understanding and actually knowing what to do when a crisis happens makes a pretty big difference.
I am told to pray for all of my leaders regardless who they are and Lord knows this one needs it I believe more than others
Pray for leaders and for the USA and for the world.

I agree, but I was referring to an entirely different kind of gap EjFord... lol
Trying to figure out how to fill the gap and maintain a 6 ft distance?
😎
Hope the powers to be in California will let the 'farm employees' continue to work. We talk about shutting down all kinds of things but this country could get pretty hungry if food doesn't continue to move across this country. "Shelter in place" ???
We need to take care but need to keep this country moving.
Of the 40,000 Slingshots built that were born 'beautiful' there probably two or three are still 'beautiful'. Most of them have had lots of mods top to bottom and front to back. I love seeing every little thing the guys & gals are doing. May not do it to mine but love to see.
Glenn we got lots of guys here that can give you the right answer. Me--I just know how to put lots of miles on the fun machine. airoutlaw will give you very positive info.
I am usually a pessimist but I really think the market is going to come back really strong once this passes. Fortunately I don't rely on the market to live.
A couple of people who's thoughts I value are thinking the same way. There is a lot of construction that is under way and needs to be completed. A couple on 'nods' and the market can turn in a heart beat.
I drive 120 miles from Southeast of Chicago to the Northwest of Chicago... My dealer of choice is Nielsen's Ent, Lake Villa, IL If you were treated right when you bought your Slingshot, get to know the Techs in the shop --- would be my TWO-CENTS.gif TWO-CENTS.gif yea my dealer is worth the extra TWO-CENTS.gif
awesome! Hoping all the pictures will guid your cuts. Remember measure twice cut once lol.
'Painters' caulk doesn't look good on the Slingshot .. even color matched.
With all of the different "shut downs" and people at home, lots of different things are happening. As most of you know I'm a residential painting contractor. Talking to the guys at my local Sherwin-Williams store there are very busy with people (DIY people) coming in to buy products. Apparently it's happening at the Sherwin stores across the country. We're still working and have quite a bit on the books. Never know for sure if the job going to 'fly' until they write the 'down payment' check and we get started. I'm guessing that things are also moving at the 'big box' stores. Need something to do if I'm stuck at home. I'll put gas in the Slingshot and ride the country roads in Northern Indiana if I'm not making a little money.
Good to have you here...
I just bought a 2019 SLR, so naturally it snowed yesterday and is raining today (New Hampshire, USA)

We get to go to work...
Nope! Bone stock. BUT they were put together so they must come apart. 🙂
BUT will they go back together again that is the question....
The design of the 15/16 seat going to be real tricky to make that all work --- just the 'valley' in the seat and back portion.... Seat is a special formed material ????
SoCal you got a 2015 or16 gray base? Do you have the stock seats?
Display MoreI think the point of the "Well that didn't work" article is that there never have been or never will be enough people like us to make trikes or autotrikes mainstream.Thats all.
Personally I think its a great Boomer vehicle. It's also nice Millennials like it too.
I have to admit that in my younger days of Muscle Cars and Motorcycles there is no way you would have ever seen one in my driveway.
I'm sure you frequently get the same question I get, What's it like riding/driving it?
I always respond with the same answer. It's more fun than a car, but still not as much fun as a motorcycle. But given where I am that this point my life its a great substitution for the motorcycle I use to ride since I no longer have the concentration, reflexes, stability anymore needed to feel safe riding a motorcycle.
It's amazing how many Boomer motorcycle and ex-motorcycle riders nod in understanding when I tell them why I switched.
The wife said I was 'old and feeble' and needed a 3rd wheel..... I would NEVER admit that she might have been right. 5 years and 88,000+ miles I love the Slingshot.
