About time you showed back up BlackDeath

I think the biggest reason I have not been on here is because it makes me spend money when I see peoples upgrades hahaha.. This forum can be expensive lol I did a few more additions to the Sling. I still have a couple things I want to do. I am thinking I might get a stereo setup finally, I feel it will be cheaper than the engine and turbo plus new exhaust =O

Hey buddy how the hell have you been?

Hope all is well and we get to ride together again soon!

I have been pretty good thanks man. How are you and the wife?! I am bummed out about this years Maggie Valley being changed. I had a house booked and everything but I cancelled and got the money back. I am not going in August as I have been told by quite a few that it is too hot and humid. I might go to the Poconos not sure yet. Paid off the Slingshot 13 months early so that is nice haha I need to figure out if I am going to do a custom stereo install first or the engine and turbo.

Where the hell you been?? Missed you - look forward to seein you again!!

Hey man how are you doing? Have you been out riding your Sling? I know I missed you guys you didn't go to was it one or 2 Maggie Valley trips. I hope things are going much better health wise, miss hanging out!

I have been looking and have not found what I want. I have the newer DDM overflow tank and it has a 32mm neck. I already spoke to Dave @DDM and he told me the size. Said pretty much any Honda one will fit and that it is 32mm. I want a round cap that will fit and I have found covers for the stock one, sticking out to much will give clearance issues where the line comes into the neck. The stock on just makes it by. Thank you in advance for your info. (While writing this I am trying one more cap that doesn't have that step piece, fingers crossed)

Cover for stock cap will be too wide as the stock cap just clears the inlet hose and threaded end.

This one hits on the bottom outer edge step and I would have to turn it down on a lathe. A smaller Outer diameter would clear. I am hoping to find one that someone found that just works.

I am putting out the feelers to see who might like to split this place I am renting, it is walking distance to the field as well. I had someone that can not make it unfortunately. I have the place from May 27th check-in time says 3pm ( I have not asked if I can get in sooner ) - June 2nd checkout says 10am

It is much better than a hotel room and I don't know how much cooking I will do but having a full kitchen is nice for sure! So far it is just myself, not sure if I can find the right person to drive down with me for the adventure. Details below!

    Serious inquires please PM me.

Flying to Asheville with my husband. It so happens he was going to Asheville that same week for a work conference. I think the other Slingshot owners are flying too, not sure.

Just a suggestion but you could just rent a Slingshot down there? I know it is not your Slingshot but you will be able to still experience it!

I tried getting a "more secluded/intimate" place last year... sadly, I booked a hotel again this year ~> BUT, find something with a nice view, fireplace, big beds and jacuzzi... and I'll canceled our reservations!

Wishful thinking haha... I believe I will have that more intimate private setting but still close by :) I think I am skipping the hotel experience this year.. We shall see 8)

BlackDeath will you be coming to Maggie Valley this year?

    Hey EJ!

Yes I will be there, I have not decided where I am staying this year. I have been looking around to try something different. Seeing if someone will join me this year but finding the right person to come with me does not seem so easy. Looking forward to seeing you this year, last year you needed a boat lol it was awful. I was caught in a rainstorm on the way home for 6 hours. Took me 16.5hrs to get home it was very dangerous and I was starting to nod off. I didn't want to stop in NYC area.
