Would be curius to know what it does more / better than the elite 1500?

Same thing on my adapter. With both shims in, its clocked completely inverted (hole closest to edge of adapter is in the rear) and that made setting up the hoses a lot of hard work.
Looks like some engines are just right while others not so much... :-/

On a stock engine for normal road usage, its not necessary.
If you have a turbo, its a good idea to have one to offset the added heat put into the system from the turbo heating the oil.
If you race your SS, its a must.

Im still on the fence on the answer....
Bah, that's the work of an amateur, didn't even window the block!!

I honestly don't know... I am not sure anyone would be able to say for sure... BUT. I am sure that they were all thru the intake tract. My guess is something super small vibrated out or off of the inside of the neck of the turbo from the inside. OR my guess is it was trapped inside of the intercooler.
Complete guess .....I am positive that my engine was flawless and the smoke started after the turbo was installed. And the next day while I was driving it I called henry to tell him it was getting worse.
AND lets just be honest here, and admit its NOT the first Alpha kit to smoke badly...
If I had a Alpha kit smoking bad, I would seriously check compression and blowby. Pretty sure you will not be the only one.

I am not surprised to be honest.
Both Alpha kits I installed smoke pretty bad at idle. And one in particular was getting worse and worse, and when I was installing it, I had to thoroughly clean the inside of every tube because it was full of powder inside. Didn't think to wash the inside of the intercooler, but this might explain the bad smoking issue.
That SS was totaled so not much of an issue anymore but yeah...
Sucks for you man, really does, and far from me to bash Alpha, but this is a known issue from the 1st cold air intakes they shipped.
I remember seing a post about this on the other forum in summer 2015:
Alpha intake lots of aluminum powder left in pipe | Polaris Slingshot Forum
Probably a lot more victims to this that think the issue is the turbo...
Oh well, I will keep my Vi kit and viva Hans and DDM.

I am sure the agents at customs and duty had ??? On their forehead when they saw this lol
a
That is smuggling at its finest!
Even my wife was asking who sent me a drawing from the US...
(For those wondering, these are shims for oil adapter)

Not sure if anyone else noticed that they have a radiator on the back just in front of the rear tire, perhaps an air/water intercooler?
I noticed it too, but man that thing will get destroyed if there is no fender installed on the rear wheel.

Show pics of the issue? Not sure what is the issue...

I've had my racing drone for a while, its fun but so hard to master...
This model I have built 100% myself including the CC3D controller programing.

The SCG is a boost controller so it comes with a boost solenoid that you install between the turbo and the wastegate and the gauge will control boost instead of just the spring in the wastegate.

Been a long time for model number I would have to check.

This is how I setup my harness from Cypher:

The OUT OF BUSINESS kit builder is. Great kit , poor control.
Updated header works very well and has very little boost creep actually. Probably one of the best kits around in its Vmount config.

@iNewton so how did the track day run go?
Pretty well. The SS is now very much faster than a T-rex in a straight line.
But, I've seen that I've hit the max with stock fuel pump and had to drop PSI to around 12-13 or I would get lean in top 4th gear.Hence now I have replaced the entire fuel setup, and learning how the Haltech Elite works...

This is me, fed up after a day of work lol
