Maybe someone needs to come up with hat and glasses lanyards with a little "slingshotinfo.com" bling on them... just sayin'

@Slingshot Garage. You should consider a "Campfire Stories" blog/thread once you get home. I'm certain I your daily life running a campground is more exciting than the average guy and I would love to read great stories regularly. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Laura and me at the top of Rocky Mountain Natuonal Park last weekend. 12,100 above sea level and 12 feet of snow.
-
Did this little trick to get back to original height installing the rear shock.
Brilliant.

They came assembled. I did have to raise them back to stock height, as they were shipped 3/4" lower than stock. I think you can order them at stock height now. @Bill from Hahn RaceCraft will be able to confirm. Install was 45 minutes max and I settled on the zero setting on the adjustment for running around town, as I love the very soft ride. It rolls a little in turns but cranking up the adjustment to six or eight clicks makes the curries nice and tight.

@Bill from Hahn RaceCraft. Did a 250 mile ride Peak to Peak in CO and rode the Trail Ridge Raod. Your coil overs are freaking AWESOME. Had and awesome ride to 12,100 feet today.

It was hotter than hell at 5,600 feet. 97 degrees. The 59 degrees at altitude was a relief. Colorado is amazing like that. Got a nice slingshot knee burn.
-
Broke 3,100 miles today. But we have lots of toys so it's hard to build the miles.
-
Holy shit. This is awesome.
It was a great 250 mile ride. Was 97 degrees at home just north of Denver and 59 degrees at the top. Averaged 30 mpg with 8000 foot altitude difference and 40 degree temp difference. Trail Ridge Road makes tail of the dragon look like a parking garage. And I've done both multiple times.

12 feet of snow at 12,100 feet. Trail Ridge Road. Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.

Hope it turns out to be nothing serious. Stay safe and have fun.

You need to pull a "Heather" trip thru the car wash! Where is that vid., BTW?
I'm sure @Tripod has it saved in his special folder...

That pic with the the white horse looks like he's asking you to race.
Looks like an awesome trip. Thanks for including us.

Am I the only one jazzed up for SSITR after seeing all the happenings from the SSITS?
No BR4, I'm looking forward to SSITR, well have our time in the sun soon in the Rockies.
I'm still trying to figure out a way to get there. Even if for only one of the days.

Did you take off the back panel to install the rear shock? If so, was removing the panel problematic?
You have to remove the upper panel and the right back panel... Well worth it to make the install easier
I did not remove any panels. I was able to get my hand up to the upper mount to get the bolt started.

I just realized I wanna be @Slingshot Garage when I grow up. Your life and campground sound and look amazing.

Installed mine this afternoon and all your tips are dead on. Of course I'm just reading them now after the install. I disagree with installing to upper rear bold first. I found it much easier to install the lower bolt than use my jack to tweak the fit of the upper bolt. Worked like a champ.
Also I started at four clicks all around and tweaked down to zero clicks. Now it rides like my Lexus LS460 and the wife loves it.

When I heard there was a new site I got all excited. But Slings Hot Info wasn't what I thought it was. Oh well I'm here now may as well stay.
