For those of you that don't know @getRDun is a Vet. Had the pleasure of having dinner with him and @TX Slingshot recently and they both are fine fellows and perfectionists. When they get ready to market their carbon fiber stuff you will be well served purchasing anything from them!!

Thank you @Bill Martin and it was a pleasure meeting you guys and thank you for dinner. Hopefully we will see you again soon in the smokies.

Just wait till we get some epoxy on these DKF Texas. Therapy will be getting "hope diamond" earrings for her Smokey trip. Your SS is stunning and thank you for loaning me your pods to expiriment on. These are not easy to do and we needed the practice. We are so close :)

Still not finished. A few more coats and a good polish.

And just for an example of how good this sticks I found a flaw in this after two coats. If I were to take the prep a step further this all would have to be grinded off. Doing it this way ensures a good mate up with the work piece but still renders it fixable in case a rock chip got deep and frayed the fibers. Or in my case an 18 wheeler tire.

They have done a ton of research and testing of products to find the best options for the Sling! The process is really amazing and dang it looks goooood!

Yes and as painful as it may be it has to be right from start to finish. The very first set of panels we did had 1 small step missed and it had to be cut off. Our main concern is to have zero returns and I personally will not hurry up and rush a product for a dollar if our name is on it. We want the slingshot community to feel good about the price we will offer and the finished product itself when the time is right so standby!

    any updates?

Please be patient. We are not trying to rush it because we want to provide the best and longest lasting finish. This is a very lengthy process and we want to iron out all details and methods of wrapping the parts so they look flawless. We are working everyday on this, I assure you.

certainly! It is a neat process. I am bringing that sample of the blue to our ride on sunday. As far as the speaker pod goes the finish turned out flawless but we were not happy with the clarity. We are literally right there on finding the best and most stable epoxy for a long lasting crystal clear look.

the other half of the turbo is coming in, along with all the audio. So I took the day off to at least do the audio and then try to decide whether or not to try to get

Don't rush that turbo install. The audio cleanup will take a bit and my work schedule is lighter next week if you want help with the turbo then.

Pleasure meeting you today, oh and.. dibs!

Hey you too man. I am hella jealous of all your mods lol. Call us when you are ready to put the turbo in later this week so we can help. With the weather like this I am stuck in the shop working on perfecting these CF parts. We can also talk about what you may want to do as far as that is concerned.

Just about finished with the carbon fiber speaker pods. These are going to look great once polished and smoothed This should also help with the sound quality by insulating it.

Message us for pricing and we are Veteran owned and operated. These are NOT direct replacements as we felt no reason to reinvent the wheel and leave you with a garage full of unused parts. We simply take a factory part that has been reaserch and developed and made it stronger by adding a thin layer of true carbon fiber. And if you do not think it makes it stronger this is what happens when you are flirting with grandma at the gas station and forget to put the gas cap back on and it gets run over.

We will be posting pictures of carbon fiber speaker pods here soon. Doing both sides of the pod will allow a little to show on the outside for a nice accent. Shown above is a vinyl piece of carbon that I put there awhile back to keep shoe scuffs off the paint.

This is a hydro dipped red and black gas cap (courtesy of DKF) next to a carbon fiber red and black gas cap. They both look awesome and have different characteristics.

I already sold one and both testicles! Now I have $75000.00 to spend!
I got 1500.00 for the kidney and the rest was testicles....can you believe for those they pay by the pound!!!!!

    SSREAP

I just can't seem to part with mine for upgraded brakes yet. :/

Yes hopefully by the end of the week we will have the website up and going to start taking orders. Like TX Slingshot stated we want to keep this affordable and we both have other obligations but after a few months of planning we think we can aim to please and start getting these out soon.

As he stated previously we want to keep this as comparable to hydro-dipping cost wise as possible.

I have seen these guys work! It is really nice!!! I'm going to have some done!!!

We should have you a speaker pod example in a day or so to look at. Not only will it look sick but after we put it together with a few extras the acoustics will sound richer.

Do I have to strip the WHOLE HOOD to get that little center section out??? I want to do mine in the famous CF dipped Purple!

No you simply remove the two screws and gently tap the clips while lifting. Do it after it has been sitting in the sun.

The left and right hood accents are much more complicated. It is completely doable though and if you break one of the (12) plastic tits that are part of the panel we already have a fix for it. Most of you probably have broken ones that you do not know about.
