I’ve always wondered why there was an ignore thread button. Now I know.

@ridingthefunway welcome. i will be working that week and we are heading out for Maggie Valley that weekend. Otherwise I'd love to ride. @Tripod is right. We have a great event in September in Eureka Springs. Lots of great riding in the area. I think the event name is Slingshots in the Ozarks.

- Ahh @KayTwo I was hoping that would go unnoticed.

In Chicago this week and I’m freezing. Wind chill of 19 this morning. I want to go home!

Happy birthday and many more

congratulations, @kev

@studiopeg I look forward to meeting you one day. I admire anyone who is willing to sacrifice for their parents/ families. Many blessings to you for honoring your parents. I, too, love roller coasters. Welcome. This is a wonderful group of people.

^^^^ I don't think terrified is the word to use with Slingshot and rain...
More like very scary aware...
Never mind! You're right! Just saw it was @HeRSling...
@airoutlaw. You are right. Scary aware is a more accurate term and that is why I was only 10 mph over the limit. But, you are saying it was okay to be terrified because I’m a women? Or a grandma? Or soon to be great grandmother?

There was rain in the area when I rode to work this morning. It rained on me a wee bit. But, the forecast was for it to clear off and be sunny and in the 70s so I decided to ride. I reduced my speed to 45 on the 35 mph twisties because y'all have me terrified of wet roads.

I just got home from work. My office was a comfortable 73 degrees with slight breeze from my desk fan. Not really sure about outside weather anymore

Yes ma'am. I live about 30 miles east of Stillwater. Weather was beautiful Saturday so we took a ride and ended up in Stillwater. Drove by the "bumblebee" on the west side and thought I'd pull in and get a pic with the Sling.
You don’t say. My dad was born and raised in Yale,

Happy happy birthday. Wishing you many more

@Cowboy were you in Stillwater Oklahoma?
-
yeah, it was 32 degrees when I left the house. I was all bundled up with a stocking cap, a balaclava over my face and sunglasses. I drove up to Krispy Kreme drive through for coffee and doughnuts. The guy at the window says, "Good morning, sir, may I help you?" I pull off my glasses, pull down my balaclava and say, actually it's ma'am. First time someone thought I was a guy.

Thanks for sharing, Two of my favorite men. Great story.

@dangerdarrell Sounds like you are looking at double trouble if you only bring one. Maybe you are just too tired from all that riding while Patti is working. JUST SAYIN
Hey there @Boomer I will be there too! I'm anxious to ride the hill country in my own sling. But thinking about trailering both to MV if we get a double trailer. Otherwise we will probably trailer one and drive the other. Anxious to see your honey again.

I hired a new HR Generalist 2 weeks ago. Really nice, sharp young man. But A true millennial. I had to tell him to put his phone away when we are in meetings (with an executive no less) and not to answer emails or texts and to pay attention when we are on a conference call. Not to mention, trying to speak up when he knows nothing about processes yet. He read about it once and thinks he knows. I feel like I’m raising teenagers again.
