Flamenco bassist - pretty awesome...
If I took a couple thousand lessons and practiced 14 hours a day, I couldn't do that in a million years! I'll bet that's not his only instrument. Awesome talent!

What relay did you use and where is it located?
I have 2 of the Tricled blocks and a marine rated regular fuse block running off an Optima yellow top battery. All fuse blocks are fused from the battery. Lights and low amp draw things to the Tricled boxes. 2 amps, a powered sub, and a horn running off the regular fuse block. (Don't have to worry about being "hot" or not since the amps and subs are self switching. The horn will only work if the key is switched on) Never have had a problem. Have also been told by a knowledgeable mechanic who has also done several high end audio installs that you should have no problem. You only run into problems when you out amp the battery. Hard to do with one of the Optima batteries. Those things are "beasts"!!! Besides, most of my mods are low amp draw like leds and such. Even have my heated seats hooked up through them.

I'm curious why you chose a marine rated regular fuse block for the high-amp stuff instead of a Tricled block. Is there a reason for this?
The Imperfect Storm! It will win next year's Oscar. I'd talk to that Petersen dude. Maybe Scorsese or Lucas if he's busy. No, Tarantino. This is Money!
Now how ya gonna get that Slingshot into the bedroom?
You may want to get something to shield your junk from the radiation if that's true!
What do you think caused his rather serious anomaly?
I'm having a 8.5 x 14 enclosed trailer custom made for me. Ramp rear door, interior lights, roof vent, 3.0 side door, two axle with brakes on both, many more things to many to list. Under $4700. I call that a killer deal, and I don't have to worry about weather or goobers trying to get in the seat or getting a souvenir off my sling.
LC
Good morning LC! I see you made the trip (here). I'm enjoying myself on this forum, with these people, and I'm sure you will too. I am curious why you joined up after all that time over 'there', same as me.
Your trailer sounds like a smokin' deal to me, especially for a custom setup. Post up a pic or two once you've got it. Cheers!
Hey mine doesn't even have a aftermarket shiftknob 100% stock
Aftermarket gasoline???
So sorry this happened to you MiM! I know the pain of a wrecked Sling and I'm glad you kept your Zen. Swapping ends is never fun (on pavement), and give yourself some credit for reeling it in without major damage to you or your machine. You'll get that purdy thing back together in no time!
I want a battery disconnect switch that doesn't look like one...I'm not into the bright red looking switch. I found this and I can wire it to one of our factory dash switches...
Amazon.com: Intellitec Battery Disconnect Relay-Prevents Dead Batteries: Automotive
From what I've read it needs a momontary switch to activate it...which they make and I already have.... And it fits right in our dash.
That looks like a good option with the difference of not being marine rated. You would want to find a dry spot to mount it. I would also consider a semi-hidden location for the switch if security is a secondary purpose. Let us know what you come up with @Bigdog, I'm interested in this.
Anyone running more than one fuse block because of accessories?
Not yet, but that was one reason to spend $35 instead of $145 (vendor price).
Got it. Hot wire from the battery. Switch wire from the glove box power port. It's a more versatile setup than mine for sure. Thanks guys!
All stock so far....except the shift knob!
Now that's not all stock is it? Welcome to the forum and it's time to light up that credit card! There's over 400 accessories that go with that knob.

Take a look here ...
Easy to install (Battery power/ground/trigger wire to glove box power port), easy to add or change stuff, and any of the 6 circuits can be either constant power or switched and can be changed from one to the other in less than a minute .....
So many motorcyclists use this unit that I am surprised its not common on the Slingshot ...
.....
.
That appears to be the same unit and price as the Tricled version that many use. I'll use this on my next Sling since I now know that I'll have both constant and switched circuits.
Roger that @Chefjohn. The only thing on there is the demon eyes. I might add another led circuit or two. If it starts popping fuses I obviously have overloaded it and would need another solution. I ended up with a hot wire from the battery as well for the curb alert. I don't know how to wire a relay from the ignition for this wire but would be interested in doing that too. Then with just two wires from the battery I could have a hot wire and a switched wire, correct?
Hunting season starts in Oct. Just sayin...
I used this Blue Sea Systems marine-rated 6 circuit fuse block for $35:
It does not allow for both constant and ignition hot, but I had determined that I don't want any constant hot accessories. I kept leaving them on and killing the battery. I wired it from the glove box charging port and grounded it to the frame right above it. Sorry about the pic - my phone has been abused.
One thing to be aware of with deer at night is that they are often spooked by their own shadow which suddenly appears on the ground behind them when they are hit with headlights. The most common reaction is to jump away from the shadow - and towards your car, thus the 'suicide syndrome'. Best thing to do when you see eyeballs on the side of the road is to slow your @ss down and expect them to come at you.
I nailed a bird the other day with passenger side roll hoop (going about 90 on some back roads), while heading home from work... no damage, just feathers. The bastard came out of no where and scared the sh*t out of me!! Could only imagine hitting deer...
Was it a Starling darling?
Same. Damn.
Or Skyline Blvd in Forest Park, Portland, OR. Short but sweet!
Enjoy the ride East Coast brothers and sisters. Sounds like a happening!
