you guys need to quit riding in the damn rain, that's crazy.
It's normal life here. 305 tire seems to take it just fine.

I was taking statin drugs at one time and ran into serious neck pain (I quit taking the pills). Had two doctors tell me I needed neck surgery. It took six weeks before those statin drugs got out of my system and then no more neck pain. Wrote one of those doctors a nice letter on how he shouldn't go around misdiagnosing people. It can take a while to get some of those drugs out of your system.

Just thought here, try shopping your policy again. We all forget sometimes that there are a myriad of different companies out there. When my wife got an accident many years ago the company we were with doubled the rate shortly after. I went to another company with no premium increase. Wishing you luck on this! I too get stuck in a rut and stay with one company. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t but it always pays to shop.
My 29 Ford was in a flood and they paid me off but I can tell from what their charging me on my 1993 Chevy 4X4 replacement truck that they want their money back.
I had to drop Geico, when it comes to claims they can be real rat turds. I had to pay off my bike to keep them from giving all the money to other rat turds.
On all my vehicles insurance policies i have Non-insured and Under-insured coverage...In this day and age you need it.....Theres a lot of Democrats driving out there...
That was a dumb thing to say. Illegals and other poorly paid people are the ones who can't afford insurance anymore. I'll be on the list soon as I am retired. My 29 Ford was in a flood and they paid me off but I can tell from what their charging me on my 1993 Chevy 4X4 replacement truck that they want their money back. I won't be able to keep up if insurance keep going up.

I have the Slingshade and i ride in the rain. Setting at a red light it helps, But once you start moving the rain will wash your eye balls out, You'll need a full face or goggles...
I have the twist top and at a stop you get your own personal waterfall from the center section. Lands right in the shifter well to over flowing. It was a fairly heavy rain.
I will say that with the slingshot as my daily driver having a full helmet for the cold and or wet days is a nice thing. Not only does it keep your head dry, but rain hurts at 70 mph
Try riding around with no underwear (but please wear your jeans) at 30 mph it will go through your jeans and sting like many bees. Waaaaaaaa! Never did that again.
Am I excited? Yes I am excited... just got the bill for my twist top.
What are these things called birthdays? Must have something to do with the mothership...
Then why have you posted so much about boosting?
So all chickens in America can safely cross the road... I thought that was rather obvious myself.
I’ve pretty much made up my mine that this will be my first and last SS....so I’m making it mine....don’t really expect to boost it unless in hit the lottery..
That's purty much why I bought my 2017 SLR.
Display MoreOk, with a turbo you have adjustability....with a super charger you gave one setting....so where is that single setting compared to a turbos power...is it 1/4- 1/2- 3/4?
So put it in the ball park...I don’t expect exact calculations...
I drove a Mini Cooper S and I’m assuming the S means supercharged.... I was totally impressed with the power that car had with a smaller engine ....which sorry to say would probably out run my factory SS...
And since I’m not that mechanically adept...making turbo changes and anything else involved with that...a super charger single setting option just sounds simpler for a mechanically challenged individual...and I don’t have the money to dyno test and all the other technical things...
I think this thread would relate to Manual tranny VS auto tranny, SC VS TC... and it boils down to this... MONEY. You can go conservative or you can go full tilt and blow some really big bucks.
Ya know, he’s looking for ya.... just sayin’.

If he/she had landed in the empty lot across the street I'd jumped right on in.
Insurance companies are supposed to report to the DMV if you drop your insurance..then the DMV requires you to submit your license plate.
Laws are made to make big company's money, nothing less... nothing more. I had a illegal stop at a stop sign once and he had no insurance. I had right of way and he ran out in front of me. The cops showed up and maybe wrote him a ticket but he was allowed to drive away in his car without any insurance. Insurance and inspections are about large company's and states making money and that is all it's about. I still cringe when a Chopper flys over me.....I spent a lot of hours in them...

I can see how you would, you were in the thick of things over there. My hat's off to you sir.
I guess I should explain that I worked on helicopters (crew chief) when I was in the military.
Order some shinny Stainless Steel AND it does not rust
Unless it's made in China...
Just saw a Blackhawk helicopter fly over my house at 100 feet AGL. Wicked mean machines.
i SMILE EVERY TIME NOBODY WAVES AT ME ANYMORE. I wave back at the few who give me the wave.
