I agree, run, run away from that "deal". Take the Sling and
runride out of there as fast as you can!! -
Oh come on! Give us the dirt!!
-
@rabtech
do you know if they make that Kenwood without the GPS
I love the GPSI am using and do not need 2 - but I want all the engine data
Mitch, the Kenwood DDX375BT will give you the ability to display the engine performance like @rabtech without the pesky annoyance of an additional GPS!
At a pretty reasonable cost as well! Remember, you'll still need the iDatalink Maestro. -
That’s the next one...
Lots of footage to go though ~> won’t get to it until next week. Long hours at the office...
Still, very patiently waiting for the next video... -
You are an ECUist. I don’t appreciate you discriminating against me based upon my stock ECU!!
Or is it still stock if it had a Bob tune??
Either way, it’s no Haltech!

Was @V-SHOT able to keep up?
-
What @Dave@DDMWorks said. Stainless steel so it won't rust/corrode. 89 in/lb doesn't require anything incredibly strong.

^^^ Hmmmm. Now this is a game-changer. I may have to work on some logistical stuff to make this happen. My new position starts on the 30th. Probably wouldn't look good if I start the new position...and ask for time off, right off the bat. I'm already working with them on trying to secure my leave for Maggie Valley. Fingers crossed!!!!!
How is this a game changer? If anything, Staunton is closer than Peaks of Otter. -
you guys and your pictures lol. no pic it didn't happen.
It's not that I don't believe you, I'm just wondering if I'll be able to recognize who makes it... -
Thoughts?

I like @Andy Hatch's point that I64 and I81 provide convenient access to most.

yes,
Would you mind taking some pics? I only ask cuz I looked at the OEM parts lists and I cannot find a sliding passenger bracket. I’m wondering if the dealer installed an aftermarket sliding bracket... either way, lucky you! -
It is. Have a title stating that. It was built as a mid year limited edition to match one of @Painters. That information came directly from the mouth of the chief design engineer for the Slingshot.
So funny how Polaris get's their panties in a twist for using their Emblem or Slingshot Font, but they have no problem ripping off our ideas left and right!!! -
Ok, that’s fair, let’s keep as originally planned. Peaks of Otter Area on the 19th. I’ll work on smoothing out some details, like a route and a start time.
-
2 or 3 of us running around almost naked.....
probably closer to 2
-
just a color change!
Yeah, just a color change, some custom graphics, wheels, steering wheel, stereo system, fenders, @lrobbi hood mod, shocks, custom rear protection mesh... and the list goes on and on and on -
maybe it's just me, but what is this for? Does it matter what Polaris made 2-3 years ago?
Whatever it was Polaris made 2-3 years ago, you can be just about guaranteed it ain’t what it is today... ain’t that right @Shatneyman? -
We could do this for a day run, with a few stops to include a lunch stop.
-
I say it's a good thing you are not an LS.
(that's an SH or an SK for some of you old salty dudes. )
eh... shit happens and then we course correct and adjust fire. -
Okay all... don't hate me!!!
I just checked availability at the Peaks of Otter Lodge and they have nothing! for the 19th and 20th. So I am thinking we move this from Peaks of Otter to Tazwell, VA... Check the map out below
Move this to the next weekend (I know, it's Memorial Day weekend) or keep it all the same and just not stay at the Peaks of Otter Lodge.
What say you?
