I think that fixed it.

Just wanted to brag about my Wife putting up with me for so long!

Broke my clock spring and thinking about using a momentary contact push-button switch mounted in the dash. I've found plenty of round push-button momentary contact switches, but they don't fit in the dash switch openings.

Our Son and Granddaughter came down to visit for Xmas. We were eating at Freddy's and our Daughter took our pictures and surprised us with this -
Made using the Elf Yourself app.
You'll have to guess which one is me! I doubt any of us will ever be so slim again!

This guy is my hero!
Unfortunately, that video was partially faked. the device evidently does work, but at least some of the "thieves" were friends of the developer. Still a pretty neat trick, though.

Or you can just let a toddler teach you how to park...
At the Spring 2018 Slingshot get together here in Houston, there were several kids driving the electric Slingshots fast enough to drift/skid out on some of the turns!

Came across this guy converting a truck alternator into an electric motor to power a go-kart. He initially tested the electric motor using a 12V battery, but plans on using the Lithium battery pack he built for his electric drift 3-wheeler. Here's a link to the 3-wheel drifter -
Part 2 is building the battery pack and part 3 is finishing the bike. Note that he made an error when building the battery pack by using batteries that lacked sufficient output for his controller and he needs to rebuild the battery with stronger batteries.

I came across this interestring video in an email from American Muscle - How Ford 3-D Prints 2020 Mustang GT500 Parts | Touring Ford's Advanced Manufacturing Facility -
Don't miss the reference to a printed door and other unique items not limited to plastic printing.

I've actually seen several variations of the fifth wheel dedicated to parallel parking. All of them required a special power source and just never caught on.

Overall, I felt her comparisons were relatively fair, although I had a WTF? moment when she made her comment about off-roading in the Slingshot. I hope she got her vehicle confused and was referring to Polaris' reputation for off-road vehicles and not taking the Slingshot as an off-road vehicle.

Liked 3-wheelers more than she thought she would. Ranked the Slingshot tops for tech, but didn't care for its styling. Found this posted by @yochemate over on TDS.

IIRC, I think I heard that labor is a killer for anything clutch-related since the Slingshot requires front-end removal to pull the engine & transmission for clutch work.

I know this is now off-topic, but here's her review of a Chevy S10 (she clearly enjoys HP)! -
and her review of assembling the QuickJack BL-5000 SLX -
I spent at least an hour watching more of her videos!

An interesting YouTuber's review of Hydrosilex -

When considering a larger tire on your stock rim, always check the tire manufacturer's website for the wheel widths they recommend for the tire you are considering.
