Has you gone to the search feature and looked up "cipher?" Looks like there are at least three other different threads that may have some nuggets of info for you.

wow... I can't believe I didn't do the search on the correct forum... fml
I feel like an idiot lol.

OK doing the search definitely helped. Man I really wish I had some extra cash for the upgraded 2001 ones but that's a little up there

Wow! That is amazing and TY for creating this. The stock looks straight hideous! And makes me want to put a sign that says, please go to the other side!

Would you happen to have an overlay of the SS before the IM was installed? I'm really curious to see the power band and how much of a curve change it has.
Also adding this IM, did it make it run rich? Do we have to tune it if we get this?

Going the NA route, if we can get 200whp (yes this is really wishful thinking right now) would be amazing (with not a lot of effort).

Are you absolutely sold on Cipher? If not, Polaris makes some very comfortable seats that save you some money AND use the stock brackets, which means maybe room in the budget for another mod on top of seats.

nope, I am fully open to other brands too, actually if I can save money then hell yeah!
Can you post up the one you mentioned please?

I found some ebay ones that are like the Cipher ones but for $200, just not sure about the brackets.

    Hey guys,

So wifey aka the boss is in a great mood and is letting me spend a little $$ on the SS :)
Before she changes her mind, I want to cash in ASAP lol.

Did some checking around and I think my next mod is seat upgrades. I want something a little sexier then my current ones and hopefully more comfy for long rides.
I did some digging and while I would LOVE to have Sparco, Bride or Recardos, those are just out of my budget.

Next up is Cipher, I notice that a lot of SS owners have these so that's always a good sign. Thing is, I need some input. ( MiM looking at your sir since I stalk your Instagram a lot haha)

    1. Leather/ette or Cloth?
What's easier to clean and won't be a dirt magnet. I also go to a lot of car meets here and part the car out so it'll be hot when I get back in (current stockers burn my ass off! but I'm used to it and now how to save my booty)

    2. Which style/model works?
I'm really digging the CPA1031 model but if there are other ones then post please.

    3. The color scheme...
all black (but upgrade to harness belts red) or have a little bit of red in the seats and still with black harness. (I will be doing the 4 or 5 point harness when going this route)

    4. The seat brackets.
I know Planted sells the ones that work with Cipher but at $140 each, I was wondering if another brand can work? NRG makes a pair for around the same price on ebay, would that work or is planted the only one.

    5. Most important is feedback.
How is the confort on them? Long rides, short, in between? How is it parked outside and then you get on it? How's clean up? Any water resist (I won't be driving in the rain but good to ask)?

Thanks so much for the help everyone! Hopefully I get a pair of these babies before wifey changes her mind :)

P.S. I don't mind other brands too as long as they are comfy and not pricey, just post it up please!

    Hey guys,

Since I bought the Injen CAI from slingmods and had to remove the OEM intake, I wanted to do a video for anyone that were interested in doing it also. Now please keep in mind that I like to curse a lot when things don't go my way.... lol
    You have been warned!

P.S. Zero editing skills so uh... Hi!

I'll post another thread (if OK) on how to install the Injen CAI.

I can agree somewhat. I feel if I'm in an accident in my sling(knock on wood I dont) the sling will not stand up to a good impact vs another vehicle and therefore a helmet would not make a difference. Even supercharged I dont plan on driving my hard enough to teach her to roll over and play dead! I get the fact of wanting extra safety tho! grin-squared

True and I do believe the same however remember, it's not you that will cause the accident, it's the person too busy on the phone or eating or something else that will cause it and most likely not get a scratch.

I'm in CA and I wear a helmet. My life is more important then anything else and I want to make sure I see my kids grow old.
I have several helmets from flat black to smexy red.

Oh and I have both half and full but mainly use full for the safety

As a general thing, yeah. It reduces noises and heat (plus creates better flow from what others say)

I had a guy come up to me and say, damn bro must be nice to be a doctor.
I was confused as we both were coming out of the gym.
I told him thanks but I'm a tech geek.

(Note that before I told him the price, he thought I was stupid rich and his conversation with me was super kiss ass and polite, he's nose must have been brown as hell by now).

So later I told him the actual price and that anyone can buy this. Once I told him that, flip switch and he was talking to me like I was some homeless guy begging for money.

"Oh that shit is that cheap? Fuck bro my merc costs more then that lol. Prob that why it's missing a wheel".

At this point I wanted to slap some sense into his dumbass but can't fix stupid.
So I just said yup, I just sell myself on the street mon-fri, work out my butt cheeks in the afternoon and lube my man boobs in the mornings. Now if you excuse me, I am going to go look for my 4th wheel, prob with my previous customer.

Had me so annoyed... until I saw his car and lol'd.... dodge neon with bumper missing.

    Hey guys,

So I was looking at the demon eyes to buy but reading how to install, it's just replacing the current T10 bulb that is in the SS already. If that is the case, can't we just replace the bulb with a brighter LED and call it a day?
What is the point of the OEM t10 bulb? Since our headlights are always on, do the OEM t10 bulbs serve any purpose?
If I were to replace those with LED red t10 bulbs, would that work fine?
Will it make any difference when the car is on and the headlights are on?
If I add a headlight bypass switch, will that turn off the t10 bulbs as well or keep those on?

I tried looking up any one else asking questions on the T10 but no additional stuff was found on it and I was really curious.
