Ordered yesterday and shipped yesterday. You cannot get much faster than that. Thx Slingmods.

If I'm not mistaken I think it comes with velcro already on the back of it ready to go.
After looking again, you are right. I was mistaken and thought it came with tape. It does come with velcro which would allow you to take it off and either cover it to keep from getting wet or like E. Neal states to put an extra strip of velcro in a dry place to mount it during rain. GOOD TALK GUYS!!!

Folks: Just a thought for shits and giggles. I know the Pedal Cdr is not waterproof, but I still like where Slingmods video has mounted it. It is centered and looks like it belongs there. Anyway, rather than use the 3d adhesive, I was thinking about using black velcro and that way be able to take it off and wrap it or enclose it somehow (yet to be decided how) to keep it from getting wet. Just thinking outside the box.

Order placed. Thanks to all who made this happen!!
I hope to get good review from jdymag132 soon. If not, I like the return offered by Slingmods.

I feel confident that William from Slingmods will chime in here once the goal has been met.

After we get 20 commitments, at some point, Slingmods is going to have to ask as to what year of Slingshot we have. I imagine some are 15-16s and some are 17+.

I am not going to let the group down, so put me down from being on the edge to committed!

Folks:
I am on the bubble committing to the purchase the Pedal Cdr and waiting for some reviews/feedback. In the meantime, and not to change the subject to much, but has anyone looked into a Performance Chip for the Slingshot that many vehicles have? I am talking about one that will get the most out of your engine by calculating air, fuel and spark to produce more power and MPG. I am talking about one that would work with NA, turbo, and a supercharged SS. Most importantly, I am talking about one that WILL NOT reprogram your stock or MEFI ECU tune or the electrical system in any way. Finally, I am talking about one that would alter your air/fuel ratio WITHOUT leaving any footprint or trace behind in your memory. I know people who have them in vehicles and swear by them but maybe I am reaching to much here. I figure most of you are thinking that you are getting the most out of your vehicle with Bob's tune already and cannot get more out of it, but maybe not.
Finally, to not be mistaken, I am still highly interested in the pedal cdr.

I have read this whole thread and I am on the bubble right now for the group buy in. Does Slingmods have a drop dead date on the Group Buy in? I have to say, some good recommendations/reviews by our forum members prior to that date or even some positive reviews on Slingmods website could put me over the edge.

Congrats to Dave for his accomplishment. However, even being a DDM fan, I have to ask. Was it wind aided? (Just trying to help you out Rab since I know you are feeling sad). Again, congrats to both of you for just doing this absolutely phenomenal speed and distance.

Before you buy a new sensor, recommend you take yours out and clean it, reinstall and calibrate. I am betting it will work. Soaking overnight in gasoline is recommended for cleaning.
-
Use the Innovate 3888 Bosch LSU 4.9 O2 sensor wide band. I have changed mine and it works fine. Make sure you follow calibration guidelines. I got the best price from Eric's Performance Parts,

He hit on the major areas IMHO for providing his assessment. I thought it was well written and truthful.

For shits and giggles, are the battery connections clean and securely tight?
-
Now that is funny!!!

Sounds good whatever he said.

Hopefully, my solution to the exhaust fume issue

In some states, the SS is classified now as an autocycle. I would do my due diligence and check the helmet law on autocycles as well.

I would love to hear from the SS owners who have the Pedalmax. It was stated that hundreds have them so surely some of them will provide us with their experience.
