I guess you are near the end of your mods when you are adding a shock sensing alarm to your Slingshot. First I have heard of adding this mod, so you may be the first.

You folks have a great time at this event. If I did not have a prior commitment, you would see my Carolina Tar Heel face there as well. Ride hard but safe.

My issue is getting a Polaris email and a Safety Recall memo in the mail and they tell us to contact our dealership to schedule an appt and guess what, our dealership does not have the grommets in hand. Something is wrong with this picture. My dealership (Interstate Cycle, Mooresville NC) gave me the indication that they did not know when the grommets would be in. Fortunately for me, I have the holes covered with Duck tape and already a M6 screw on top. I told those jerks just to give me a call when they come in.

Got the Polaris safety recall email a couple of days ago. I called my dealer (Interstate Cycle, Mooresville NC) yesterday to schedule an appt to have the grommets installed. I made an appt with the Service Mgr (3rd one in 2 years) for next Friday and they asked if I could leave it. Since I am 41 miles away, I stated that was not an option and I would wait. While I was on the phone with them, the phone rang and they put me on hold and when they came back on after a couple of minutes, they informed me the grommets had not arrived. I was wanting to ask why in the world would you make me an appt when the parts are not in but I stated to them to call me when they arrived and we can make an appt. Additionally, I told them, just to reiterate, do not call me until you have the grommets in hand.

Jeff is a great guy who supports the SS community whether you have his exhaust or not. I have an Alpha turbo side exhaust (sorry Jeff) that I like but the camaro exhaust tip I have on it was coming loose and making a rattling noise. Jeff took the time to tack it for me. Now if he can only come up with a solution to install his 2.5 dual exhaust with my Assault fender.

Some SS friends and me were up your way yesterday. We took the scenic route from Conover NC to Mt. Airy and we went through Wilkesboro and Elkin via Rt 268. We can keep you in mind in the future. The folks I have been riding with are from Denver NC, Claremont and Winston-Salem. I have seen your SS before at I believe was SSITS.

Go to TUFSKINZ.com and they have the Polaris inserts for front fender. I had the vinyl inserts but these are a lot better quality.

Folks: Thanks for the welcome who sent me one but just to let you know that I only changed my user name. I have been on the forum since it came on line.

Folks: Just a friendly message to notify you that I changed my user name from "CRUSHER" to "Miller Time" since my last name is Miller. My nickname was Crusher when I was playing softball. I am sorry for any inconvenience this will cause but hopefully it should be minimal.

No doubt Dave and Jeff at DDMWorks work hard to make sure you are a satisfied customer. I could not have ask for more from Dave as he ensured that all my issues were worked out while at SSITS. I also want to thank Ivy and Angie as they were very customer focused and very friendly ensuring all of my order was completed as requested. I look forward to doing business with DDM again.

I just want to say a gracious "Thank You" to the good Lord for providing us with the great weather we had. After last year, this was certainly a welcome sight for all who attended. I hope everyone had an enjoyable time. It has been a long time since I laughed as much as I did. Everyone I met was so friendly!! Also a special thanks to all the vendors!!! Love you guys.

Folks: It has passed the NC House but not the Senate yet and signed by the Govenor. In my estimation, do not look for it to be passed this year.

Start of my trip to Indy to meet up with posse has started with lots of rain. Currently holding position at a Gus pump!
Thats gotta suck.

Gotta go with you Rab on placing them together as it balances out the front with the center lights; besides any kind of spreading will cause problems at your age.
