Cool, this is not in the same league as the SlingShot so comparing the
two would be apples to oranges, but it looks like a great option for
somebody that is looking for an inexpensive three-wheeled street bike!

As wlfyfe says, it's apples and oranges. It doesn't matter what you call something or how it's registered. The fact is, one is a 3-wheel motorcycle, and the SS is a 3-wheel car. There are markets for both.

After having the 6 LED headlights installed a couple years ago, I had a bulb go out and needed replacement. This is a non Polaris item, and I didn't have a clue who to help me or how to do myself. I surely would have broken parts trying to replace it. But after having watched 2 of his videos dealing with the 6 LED setup and connecting to the plugs correctly, I couldn't believe how easy the procedure became. Hats off to Sam, he is a legend in the SS community!

Disclaimer: They SHOULD have let the SS participate.
BUT...........Just because the SS is registered as a motorcycle in SOME states, doesn't make it one. It's a 3-wheel car! It has a 5-speed manual shift like an auto, roll bar, seat belts, and your passenger sits to your side, as well as being wider than a Corvette in front. All the other vehicles you mentioned being allowed had saddles for seats, passenger sitting to the rear, AND a motorcycle shift system. I'm just sayin! :>)

Just wondering if Corbin ever fine-tuned the sloppy workmanship and quality control of these bags since all the negative experiences owners have had in installing them. I'm not interested in Mickey Mousing them to get a perfect fit, but I would shell out the rubles if they cleaned up their design. I know their CS is poor at best, but I can deal with that if the product was made solid. Any updates?

You can buy an extender (there are different sizes, get the right one) in multiple lengths from 2" to 8". I bought the 2" and it makes it a lot easier to buckle up.

I don't trust ANY magazine completely that accepts ads (that's why I like Motorcycle Consumer News, they're not afraid to give all the cons).
While it was an excellent article and mostly true in my opinion, The Robb Report is not a trusted evaluator because every article they do is about someone who advertises there. Look into who owns Polaris or whatever. I noticed a lot of Penske ads on this page. Does Penske do a lot of work for Polaris? Does Penske have any ownership? Similar large shareholders? Usually the ads on the page have a relationship to the owner.
    Just points to consider.

I'm in the high tax state of Taxachusetts, and still manage to pay only $393. Partly because i have a $1000 deductible, clean record, and have reached the ripe old age of 65. Prices can be all over the place, one really has to shop around to get the best price. I use Commerce here.

Slingmods called me months ago and advised they were cancelling all the shows for 2018 as they were extremely busy, short staffed and needed their personnel in the office. They are still a sponsor on our site and they are welcome to participate in 2019 if they choose.
Slingshot Roadsters is owned now by Scott McIndoe who purchased it from me 8 months ago.I am still here running it for 2 years. It is still an independent company. The idea is to improve the shows better than ever.Slingmods and any legitimate Slingshot vendors are always welcome at any event we do.Slingshot Only also owned by Scott is treated, charged and pays Slingshot Roadsters exactly the same as any other vendor does.

Ever since Cycle Springs sold their accessory division to Slingshot Only, I haven't had the best of experience in dealing with them. Also, Jimmy who was with them from the beginning is no longer there, and frankly I'm not surprised he left. Just my take.

Being retired gives me lots of free time. My new hobby is screwing with phone scammers. I keep them on the line as long as possible and have some fun. My record for keeping them busy is 7 minutes.
Today's scam was the Microsoft tech call. He said my computer had a virus, I asked if it was Chlamydia, he said it was. It went down hill fast from there.

7 minutes? I have consistently kept these scammers (mostly for credit card transfers and timeshares) on the line for an excess of 45 minutes. Once I realized that no matter what you do or don't do, there was no way to stop these calls, and having no life, I try to keep them on line and waste their time. It's important to get directed to a supervisor whose time I really want to waste, as most initiating callers are just low-level workers from foreign countries. One of my tactics is to have them wait on hold while my "wife" fetches my credit card in the basement. It's comical how long I can keep them on line coming up with new excuses why my "wife" is taking so long. Until the US government gets serious about passing legislation in getting our phone companies to halt these annoying calls, we are stuck with them. There are solutions, just not enough will from the powers that can actually force changes.

I'm definitely gassing up in the wrong locations. Had a few requests for rides, but any photos would have broken the Zeiss lens. Reminds me of my high school days, plenty of sex, except that I was always alone!

Just to reiterate from a previous thread: There is also a threaded hole on top of the swingarm (at least in my 2015) just to the left of the belt as you look from the rear. It seems this opening should be plugged also to be consistent in keeping the interior of the swingarm clean. I just used a stainless threaded bolt and a rubber washer.

First, it's not considered a robocall if it's from a party you're doing business with. (It might be a nuisance, but one can opt out). Second, if you want to know if the grommets are in place, just look! There are pictures on previous posts on where to look.
