Anyone using the hood lift shocks? If so any comments?
Yep, I have them and they work to make it easier for me to lift the hood with a bad back. I have the 2.

M & P 9 C or if I have to go small the Kahr P 380 with the Crimson Trace laser
Pretty damn good Fun - I may just buy a place on that creek I liked it so much if I can find a place. If I practice on the Dragons Tail every day it is not snowing maybe I will be able to keep up better next year plus have a blowout party for everyone!!!
Yep! You need all the practice that you can get, maybe next year you can keep up.
I am shooting for around 11 AM Thursday
Thx for posting..I'm interested in responses also as I'm currently looking to replace the OEMs. I'd like to get a better tire for wet conditions. So far I'm leaning toward the BFG Sport Comp 2 (the summer compound not the A/S). I'll be doing stock SL sizes.
I am taking this tire off 10,000 miles down to wear bar also cupped in the middle running 28 PSI. After SSITS 16 it is level straight across, tread width is only 9 inch. Sectional width is 10 inch. I am looking for sectional of 11 inches and tread width of at least 10 inch
I did not even look at it while we were in Maggie Valley. DAMN
Bubblehead and BillyB are in the same area. We had 10 SlingShots in for a ride a few weeks back from the area and of course yours trully ( myself ) If I remember correctly there is also a SlingShot vendor moving to the area.
Received mine today and will be passing them out, soon.
Fun.....34 how is that possible? I hate being confused so early in my day.
3 separate trips all 1000 miles or better, 34 MPG
Fun: In calculating your MPG, are you going by the odometer MPG or are you actually checking the mileage at the pump with miles driven and gas added? My odometer depicts 34 MPG but I am actually getting only 26.8 at the pump. On another note, I do like the looks of the exhaust and the sound. If they can get it to fit with the Assault fender with the Alpha turbo, I probably will purchase it.
That was using the math with 2 separate trips to Maggie Valley with around 1200 miles mile average for each trip, both trips were just over 34 MPG. The odometer has always been a little over 2 miles low.
Checked the mileage today around town only got 29.5 mpg with the tune and the exhaust. This is the first time that I have checked the mileage since the tune and the exhaust
26,500 miles and the radio just went to hell. Worked fine and good reception until 2 days ago. Poor reception now.
Another lady SS owner is here. I made it
Have you had any more come to Jesus moments since you left Maggie Valley? Next time, you need to drive and put him in the passenger seat.
Welcome to you for joining our forum and the SS world. I enjoyed talking to you in Maggie Valley. See you again next year if not before.
new member from Germantown tn!
Welcome to the world of the SlingShot.
I am up for it, anytime but you are to far away. Retired, and I do not turn down ride time as long as I have the money to support it.
It was hotter than hell at 5,600 feet. 97 degrees. The 59 degrees at altitude was a relief. Colorado is amazing like that. Got a nice slingshot knee burn.
That is what they make sunscreen for.
26,500 miles
@FunCycle your already leavin us all behind in the dust - pretty sure a few more ponies ain't gonna make that much difference to you
Every little bit helps. Is the port and polish worth the money?
I still want to know what the port and polish is worth on rwhp. I have done everything else, just want to know if it is worth the money for a couple more horse power.
