Sure, my little Colt .380 Mustang Pocketlite may be small... add in some FTX Critical Defense rounds ~> AND SHE KICKS!!
*never leave home without it!If you look at the stats on the 380 ammo and thick clothing you will be better with a high performance Full Metal Jacket round. Or in the mag do the every other round thing with both.

A little bit much for me but I do like that idea. Full Control of the port. Pricing would be the deal breaker on that maybe for a lot of people.

Let's hope for the best... LOTS OF TLC is about to come her way!!
She is getting plenty of that already, Thanks

After I had the hand surgery I changed to the Smith & Wesson M & P - 9 C

OK so the way I see it we have 3 options for inside. Either tied to the wire or the plastic loop just to the right. The thing I don't like about that is its hanging and has the potential to be ripped off. Well and if it's tied right to the wire possibly facing the wrong way. While I was down there I did notice that just to the right there's a spot to stick one on. Would be really hard to miss if your messing with the plug and would be clearly visible. Opinions?
We are getting there, a lot of great minds are working on this. I like @rabtechs idea about the port but where would you put the big one under the hood?

Are those with a custom tune writing do not flash ECU on the work order before they sign it?
sent from the Bader Badger, FAST red slingshot
That is a good point to be made. I have not seen a work order, until after the work has been done.

*cough cough* One the same route... LET'S DO THIS!!
Just got home she is doing good today. Moved to a room around 1PM. Looks like she may get out of the hospital on Sat. If everything shows up good on the bacteria cultures. PAIN!

I have an alignment scheduled for this Saturday... Any word/update/guidance? ~> Would love to see if they can't just do the recall while I'm up there.
Check and see if they can do everything while you are there or just leave the SS with them if they can get to it in a couple of days.

Brenda will be in our thoughts and prayers. I'm sure that this has been a more than taxing experience for the both of you. Never mind the missed events. With the family we have here on the Forum, I'm quite sure we could arrange something special for you and Brenda in the form of a personal meet and greet, just for the two of you. Stay strong during these trying times. Know that we are in your corner when you need us. Prayers for a speedy and successful recovery.
Thanks everyone. Getting ready to leave again for Charleston to check on her.

Sorry I am late to the party but me & @Slingrazor have been very busy doing some research on fine KY bourbon and Coonass Rum. I read thru and I believe @TheRock has just about summed it up as well as I can. Unless you could get the dealership to enter into a written contract with you (which they won't) then you are pretty much at their mercy save small claims court. Wish I could be more helpful
Thanks @Bill Martin I kind of figured that was the way it would be. So what we need is just a notification of some type to not flash the ECU

I am in for the two. I am really wanting just a reminder to leave the ECU the hell alone type thing. Reimbursement would be nice but let us be realistic.

She was so looking forward to the trips and meeting everyone this summer. Another big IF is she may not get a flexible knee joint after all of this and may not even be able to get in and out of the Slingshot.
-
Been awake over 24 hours had to take another short ride as soon as I got home. She had a 6 hour surgery last night removing all of the knee replacement stuff that had been installed in the last three surgeries. Cleaned the wound area of bacteria and put cement in to replace the knee joint to hold the leg straight for the next six to 8 months while trying to get rid of all of the infection and to get the wound area to close up. After that period of time they will reinstall a new knee. So her trips and some of mine will probably not happen this summer ( to determined as the dates come up ) at this time she is still in the ICU ( arrived in at 2 this morning ) because of some problems after surgery.

A few odds and ends and a date with the dyno coming soon .
Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Info
And maybe some video of the Honda at full song where we can hear what it sounds like.

Thanks, but I don't know about that. All I see is wires and the motor
It is an easy install do not be scared to try

Warning! Custom ECU. See owner. Shop will be held responsible for tampering.
Short and sweet and to the point. That would be two each one for under the hood and one for the end of the connector, however it needs to attach.
-
ECU sticker is great but ECU can be accessed with hood closed (since the access harness plug is below the steering wheel). Need warning at BOTH locations!
Did not know that and you are so right, we need both locations.
-
OK! Someone out there come up for the wording to be used on the ECU sticker.
