@FunCycle has claimed increase... Not sure who else...

With the CAI and the cat delete I increased 4 mpg, this is with the pencil and a couple of 1,500 trip mile averages 34mpg. Then I did Bob's tune and the Welter Dual install at the same time in Maggie and dropped 4 mpg on the 1,500 mile trip average down to 30 mpg. Everyone else was getting about a 4 mpg increase with Bob's tune, even Bob does not know what is going on. The only think that we can figure is it has something to do with the exhaust.

I just found an outstanding place to stay in Maggie Valley, the room that I have tonight looks better\nicer than the Comfort Inn rooms that we have been getting and surprise cheaper also. It is called the Five Star Inn at 2474 Soco Road in Maggie Valley (828-926-3816) He says he will do a group rate at $79 or lower for June. He also does not like the price gouging (price fixing) that the motel owners group does and tries to require everyone to use the same rates. Right now that standard rate is $139 per night and special event is $230. I just paid $89 plus tax for tonight as a walk in. I just might be changing Motels for SSITS19. OH! I forgot "NO BREAKFAST"

Nancy and I may be in Walland/Townsend tomorrow at about noon. We’re going to do lunch at the Snoring Bear Dinner. Give me a shout if you are close by.

It will be at least one before I get there, it is according to what time I wake up in the morning to leave.

Gerald, calling for rain here tomorrow but looks good for Sat.(20%) Rain again on Sun. Drive safe. As you know from riding up here watch curves for gravel and other obstacles (tree limbs, etc.) that end up in road after heavy rains.

Thanks, I have been riding the area since about 1970, way before 129 was ever called the Dragon. I rode that road every time I was up there. Did you hear about @Ghost and I riding the 300 miles in the rain on Monday at SSITS. We suited up at Joey's Pankcake House at 8 AM and got back to the Comfort Inn at 6 PM it never did stop raining the whole time. Gas stops only. I changed to the better rain tires just in case, took the Kenda's off for this weekend.

No games for me it cuts in on ride time, I rate them about the same as I do stick and ball games.

I just checked the 2018 owners manual and it says first change is at 500 mile. Did they change this for a reason. I did my 500 mile myself on my 2018 and thought it said 2500 miles. Can't remember where I saw that. I got 1200 miles on it so I guess I need to go ahead and change it. Already bought the Royal Purple. Just a side note, my 2018 has the zerk fitting on the U-joint. That tool came from Amazon today.

The first oil change for the engine is at 500 miles, not the angle drive

I did go to a local muffler store which does custom race exhaust and they only have car exhaust parts. They suggested that I look at motorcycle parts. I contacted supertrapp and they have no dimensions on there site and were not helpful. I have left 2 messages with vendors on this site and they have not return my questions. I will take a measurement tonight I know the quad end is 3" OD.

Car exhaust parts are what you are looking for!

He got tired of shifting :D and he does not like crooked roads or race tracks
