No, I doubt it.
Ah bummer.....I'll eventually catch up with ya.
Any idea if it will work with their own Assault fender?
Yes it will.... and as you know.....
@Crusher Yes it will. The Assault Rear Fender should come with 70mm bolts to accomodate this new shock bracket. The shock bracket comes with 60mm bolts for those that are not running an Assault Rear Fender. Since the Clevis brackets for the SL and Base are different, this shock bracket will now allow the base model SLingshot to run the Assault Fender if desired.
I got smoked on the response time.
Im so happy to see SLINGMODS.COM fellers here!
We're all happy to be here!
Hope a vendor or two brings a few to the Smokies.....
Hey, are you coming to Spring Sling by chance?
Passed up a few others. My target was actually a "shocked Cletus."
That's what I had in my head too.
Confused Cletus.
Damn, I was actually looking for a cool pic like that.
Clitoris?
OHH YEAH!!!
Note that this will NOT work with a Metricks Hugger fender (& possibly other fenders) due to the way the fender mounts using the OEM rear shock mount (actual term is clevis - kinda like damping vs dampening )
We need a useful button. It's clevis!? I thought it was clevoris.
Hey Guys and Gals! We got the okay from Assault to launch the new rear shock mount at a reduced price!
As pictured below, you can get them in either red silver or black and they add a better quality look to your Slingshot.
They're thicker than stock and they're made of 7075 billet alluminum.
Since the mount is thicker, the included bolts are longer than the factory bolts. Therefore, you'll need to install the new bolts from right to left so that the locking nut is on the wheel side, not the belt guard side.

whats a CAI?
dry clearers use this slang all the time,... it means clean and iron!
LOL....When are we getting our funny button @rabtech
My PRP covers turned out Awesome
Nice job!
Caryn was in the other room when I watched your shock video, she started laughing and wanted to know what the hell I was watching when you were talking about the difference between damping and dampening. I'm afraid to let her see the oil change video.
Go with your gut man, go with your gut. She may not laugh so hard on that vid. She may question your association.
The commentary is the best...
"You're so OG.....I am OG" LOL
Let the damping.. er.. dampening.. er.. whatever you want to call it, begin!
To the OP, some folks have taken theirs to regular Jiffylube type places. They just have to remember to stop short, and back out of the bay.
I see what you did there.
I didn't get a PM either, but noted something going on and with a little searching invited myself in!
Wouldn't be the same without you SJ.
You're not excited about Bob Ross ?
[/quote]LOL.....Well, it's not like I didn't want to give it a chance, but 27 minutes of that fro deterred me completely.
Thanks very much @rabtech
Wow! I've been waiting forever for that to come out.
I also have an oil change video......but uh.....It may not be for everyone.
Lost traction at about 70 MPH, left the highway, into the ditch. hit a bump left the ground, noseheavy vehicle landed on front left tire. pulled front piece out from under tire got back onto road. Does anyone have a front end for sale?
Damn man. I'm sorry that happened, but again, I'm glad you're okay.
