After installing the 1320, UPTone, and K&N I have no problems setting the cruise on 80 and it doesn't loose more tha 1 mph going up long hills. Works at any speed I've tried from 70-88. Haven't had the ECU touched yet.

I had a squeal and I have the 1320 with an unbaffeled Up. Changed the gaskets and it didn't go away. Took my dealer tech for a ride and he couldn't figure it out either. Got frustrated and took her (my SS) home to clean her up good and see if I good locate an exhaust leak. Amazingly the squeal went away after she was washed. I made sure the belt got cleaned also. Seems that really is the culprit. At least on mine.

Sounds great so far. I work nights primarily, so I have a lot of idle time to daydream. Y'all might have already thought of this or have a better idea. I was thinking of contacting all the slingshot dealers in Arkansas for info on all sling purchases from their dealerships. I don't figure they would give us address info due to privacy laws, but if we provided a letterhead with pre paid postage, they could send it out to their sling owners.

I hate it but most owners are not on the forums. We just need a way to get the word out.

l agree. We need to find a way to contact other owners. I'll mention this to Daniel but we are talking about competing dealers and he brought the idea up because he was looking at promoting Freedom (not associated with Freedom Power Sports in TX).
I asked him about the mailing list for the sales brochures I get on the SS and it seems that is a list developed by Polaris through their advertising group and it is very inaccurate. When people mark "return to sender" on them they are returned to the closest dealer. He received hundreds from USPS so the method Polatis is using is very cost ineffective.
Daniel is emailing everyone who has purchased an SS from them to let them know we are looking at setting up some events/rides and inviting them to join in. This might be more effective in the short run and then we can all visit with other dealers and see if they are interested in joining us.
Freedom is going to be engaged somehow in our Eureka event in September and other dealers might want to check it out also.

Guess I'm really getting ahead of myself! This retirement stuff is working on my brain. Never know what day it is or what holiday is coming up :00008172: I must say though, my father-in-law was right. He always said he didn't know how he ever had time to work a regular job. 8o

So, do I need to change the studs now or will just new lug nuts work for the time being? I ask because I need to get everything ready in time for MV and I have very limited time to get everything done. Have to wait until I get back before I can paint my calipers so I thought I would change the studs at that time.

Talked with them yesterday and we discussed just how we want to do things. Looks like we will keep it more informal and we will be setting up some weekend meets and drives at and from the dealership. We are going to have our own t-shirts for the "informal" club. Daniel is finding out how much advertising budget the owners (Williams Tractor) will give. Hopefully will know better by the end of this week.
BTW, if anyone is interested, they have a blue SS, two white ones, and all the colors. Also have a trede-in that is flat black with an Alpha exhaust.

Ordered!!! Hope they are here in time to install for Maggie Valley!
My wife said "Go ahead and order. How many days do I have to work to pay for them?"
We'll have forty-two years of marriage in Dec. I'm going to have to get her something REALLY nice after seats, shocks, brake light modulator, and more this year! :00009069:

@dangerdarrell We would love to join the Eureka Springs event, just not sure where we will be at and how things will be. That is the main trip we are focusing on and most realistic.

On the DFW FB page we did a custom one-off side exit for the Alpha exhaust. We do a ton of fabrication and can basically build anything anybody wants. Always 1 off parts are more expensive so you know. So a trip down here would for sure be involved :)

Thanks! Next few weekends filled (Mother's Day, daughter's coll. graduation, sister's 50th, SSITS) but I should be able to come down sometime in June.
If I were to come down during the week soon do you think we could get this done in a day?

My UP (Fab Factory) uses the top of the roll bar also. Wife has decided we will get the swing out design for looks and ease of removal. We normally don't even have the top on unless it is going to be above 90 for an extended time.
