Its not the fall that hurts, its the sudden and violent deceleration. Glad you are okay. You almost nailed the Airborne Parachute landing form, missed it by this much.

my wife keeps complaining about some loose nut behind the steering wheel, but only when I'm driving it. I have yet to find it, go figure.

I use a vacuum storage bag to put my cover in when not on my sling. I squeeze as much air out as possible and it seals tight. I flatten it out and slide it behind the seat.

no, we disconnected the ecu for 10 minutes, then reconnected it and drove the sling for about 15 minutes.

I was at my mechanics today getting a new steering angle sensor install again. He wanted to reflash my ecu which has a Bob tune on it because the sling was not recognizing the sensor. I was not having it. He stated that was how he got the sling to recognize the new sensor. Nope, not gonna to do it. I told him I had read something on the forum that said you didn't need to. He wanted me to show him, of course, I couldn't find it. But I could call Alpha Power Sports and ask for Henry. Henry, who only met me and worked on my sling at Maggie Vally for about 30 minutes, took time to off the floor to talk to my tech in KY. Henry passed on some great information and after a hard reset of the ecu and a short drive for the ecu to learn the new sensor, we recalibrated it and everything is fine now. Just wanted to show my thanks to Henry and his willingness to help the slingshot family.

Any have any suggestions for comfortable lawn chairs (I have lower back issues) that fold up and fit between the back of the passenger seat and the storage unit?
@Ross this is what I carry and use. You can find them on Amazon, search for fbsports. The are comfortable and fit in the storage cubby or behind the seats.

after reviewing the video, I saw my mistake. I didn't lick the bolts, you must lick the bolts, not the nuts. Remember that.

ensure you use Teflon tape when installing the nipples. I don't know how @mytoy installed his in only 5 minutes, it took me a while longer. Dieter must be a mechanic master.

well, I'm willing to give them a chance on the turn signal conversion, I use their third brake light modulator, and glove box light with no issues, still out on the antenna amp about it effectiveness, but it has not caused any issues. I am sure @slingmods will protect their customers in the end. One thing I find strange, is that Electrical Connection does not list the turn signal conversion harness on their own website, go figure!

Submitted for a return through @slingmods we'll see what happens. My belief is the high heat most likely toasted an electronic component in the little box. yu can't tell what is happening with the passenger turn signal during the day unless you check it during a pre or post ride. Mine was dim almost to the point of not being able to see they were on.

Been waiting on my 2nd Steering Angle sensor for 3 weeks now and just this past week my Brake Failure light pops on. Happened 3 times so far, just called my service manager and had him order my brake sensors. Now get this! As I type this, he calls me back to tell me the Steering angle sensor shows as coming in, but they can't find it and maybe a tech used it on someone else's sling. So he will reorder it along with the Brake sensors. Well, I would have waited for all the parts to be there before going in anyway. So no loss and another Sling is safe on the road!

@slingmods Will, I got the version 2 back in January and now i noticed the passenger side turn signal and side lights were out one day, the next day, they were working but are very dim. This happened on very hot days with the temps in the high 90s and low 100s. I unplugged the conversion harness and the lights are bright as normal. Do I have any recourse under a warranty?

Thanks, I missed that on their site.

Doing a project and needing to know the crossover tube diameter size. I don't have my sling close by.

I found this while taking a walk and I immediately thought about an axle nut cover. If it was the correct size. It's plastic and it looks like someone ran over it. But what do you think? And anyone know where we could buy something like this or what it's called or it's actual purpose?
it looks like a semi truck lug nut cover, @Samowens44 did a video using one as a axle nut cover, it is on YouTube.

just had my grommet recall checked off, yeah, I had them from the replacement, however my dealer had to order another steering angle sensor to replace the one Polaris sent to replace the first bad one. This one has thrown 24 trouble codes since MV. It seems polaris may have gotten a bad lot from their source.

Happy birthday, Kev!

Some of that awesome shine you brought to Maggie would have been nice afterward.
gotta give that credit to @Slunglow another great KY brother. I brought some Sugar cane bourbon. Either way, the ladies must love the way you whipped that hose out! Okay, ladies, time to derail this thread.
