hell I,m with @Slingrazor i was doing some testing one day this spring and after a block I turned back to the house and traded my fullface for my sledding one with electric defrost element so I could see through the frost lol
When the snow finally melts and we pull out the sling 32 degrees is like a beautifull spring day !

Yep, thats a Lotus 340R and I BELIEVE its the one from ft lauderdale that was for sale for a while, even on ebay , here,s the link Lotus Evora News, Photos and Buying Information - Autoblog THey say the 340 R was stripped down version of the ELise but I can tell you the Elise was a pretty minimalist vehicle to begin with , i had no problem being a shortass but watching my six ft plus brother in laws struggle to get in mine was hilarious. Here's a pic of my 2009 Elise on my front lawn, I sold it to fund my ss adventures. Why would anyone sell an Elise and go to a Slingshot some ask ? Why the hell not !! Where else can you find anything else for a lot less money that still offers that bat out of hell cornering capability ! While sitting 5 inches off the ground with an enormous power to weight sensation ! Both weigh approx 1750 lbs mt and both have similar stock HP. The stock Elise was slightly more with a 186 hp toyota drive train but mine was 225 supercharged .oh and dont tell anyone but theyre might very well be a wrecked cobalt with the gm factory supercharged LE5 Hovering around my shop just waiting to be kitted as those used 2.4 supercharged units age readily available cheap. But its not going to happen for a few months yet. Im thinking a winter project for my own demo and see where it goes from there.

Heh @2SierraRomeo and @Flybuddy I just decided to read through this thread in its entirety . I had the pleasure of meeting @kenny_h at Daytona Bike week and he showed me the new vents he had installed and I hope I relayed to him, right on brother you nailed it, I couldnt think of a better way to relieve that high air pressure area below created at high speeds ,and I COULD TELL, KENNY WAS THE KIND OF GUY WHO LIKED HIGH SPEED, LOL So I finally took the time today to read his thread. Well flybudy as a fellow flyer, I can tell you, I too almost spit my milk and cookies when i read post 108 and first saw those Naca ducts placed backwards and totally used in the wrong application !
First thing I Thought was hell, he has to get that sling up to100 mph in reverse to change any air pressures and he's just going to increase the air pressure under that hood not relieve it ! Then i thought no, hes a pilot here too ,hes up to something here, better read on a little further and see if i can figure it out LoL. Now after reading further into post 120 where he says, they,ll work when I,m done
Now I see where he's going , I think. The use of the Naca duct above is just to make aesthetically pleasing, the soon to be air outlet , that the air inlet of the Naca will become, when he adds some sort of ram air plenum underneath the hood funneling that high pressure air buildup area out through the backwards naca duct.
Yes that will be a great idea, my apologies for momentarily second guessing you @2SierraRomeo
But please tell me, the way that cowls oriented in its post I cannot figure out for the life of me , what kind of aircraft your building ?

@Onegear @rabtech I think as a relative newcomer I too know exactly how onegear feels. Its that attitude that suggests you just use the search ,well sorry guys it just isnt practical so cut us some slack.

I dont think theres anything you can do Rabtech its just that in most realities unless your searching a one time, two post topic, the search, if your after any relative info, is first going to lead you to so many dozens of posts of irrelevant and derailed info that you just loose patience after quickly trying to make heads or tales of all the mumble jumble before you find the info your looking for you move on .We talked about this a couple weeks ago with some very understanding memebers who realized not all memebers follow the forum daily and havent already participated in every discussion so they do tend to ask questions that, yes ,were thoroughly exhausted two months and 200 posts ago but please that attitude some people from other sites imply, that its just a simple search matter , give me a break ! God i got to stop using that phrase (pun intended)!

Thats what i figure too the software just automatically deletes this website cause it happened instantly. But yes I better watch my manners over there. Dont want to cause any problems . Its a good site , its just different, way different.
