I don’t know anything about setting speed records but I think that pick up truck would have gone faster if it wasn’t pushing that rail dragster.

Talk about a FAMILY, there are none better than this one. I am so honored to be a part of this family and I don’t think there is nothing that we could ask for and someone will be there for them.
I was truly surprised by Bill coming over today with this beautiful framed poster with all y’all’s thoughts and well wishes. Gonna hang it in my office and every time I am disgusted with what’s going on I will just turn and look at it I am sure it will put a smile on my face.
From the bottom of my heart I thank each and every one of you, my family of misfits for this. As for my tears I think Bill had a bag of cut onions in his pocket.
I love you guys, in a manly way of course.
Thank you

Just got home today from an extended stay in the hospital and found a package for me. I would like to thank Goats_Hogs and his bride and ThomSS and his bride for the tee shirts they sent me from their event last weekend.
Y’all made my day, thanks so much.

So, with the 3rd SlingShot, I ended up going with the dealer offered financing because he was offering 3.99% and the CU was offering 5+%. It ended up being Sychrony Bank which is one of the Polaris partners.
Well, I've made 3 payments so far - and had 3 problems. I'm wondering if anyone else deals with Synchrony and what your experience might be.
Sychrony does not issue a payment books nor do they have on-line payment capabilities (like EVERY F'N OTHER COMPANY TODAY!). They send me a payment coupon each month like credit cards do. My payment is due on the 25th of each month:
- June - Sent payment on the 20th, was posted to my account on the 26th, and cleared my bank on the 28th. Got a late fee of $39.99.
- July - Received payment coupon on the 19th (even though it says it was printed on the 12th). Of course I called to complain about the short timing, got the late fee reversed, and sent payment out on the 20th, clearing my bank on the 23rd.
- August - Got payment coupon on the 14th. Showed I owed 3 payments and that I was late! Current balance was almost $400 more than the original loan. Called and found out that they had to remove all my payments to take care of that late fee and then re-apply them all. Everything was cleared and I was on track and only owed 1 payment and that the printed statement/coupon just happened to print while they were doing all this. Sent the check on the 15th.
So, anyone else having problems with Sychrony/Polaris financing?
I had a Sychrony account on my Sling. I had them automatically withdraw from my checking account. I would still get the payment coupons in the mail every month. I don't remember how I got it set up but it was probably on the coupon.
After the Sling was payed off I still got a couple of coupons showing $0.00 balance.

Y'all will be traveling in style..... Very nice indeed!

Looking good there Mr. S. Hope your battle ends pretty soon so you can get back on the open road and put some miles on your Cool Looking Slingshot
Thanks Phil, had great report last week it seems my largest tumor shrunk in half and the others shrunk significantly. This was after four rounds of chemo and immunotherapy. Had a treatment this Wednesday and then one more at the end of the month and then plans are to just do the immunotherapy for maintenance.

Yesterday my Sling Shot brother av8ingtom , who is down here in Coonass land visiting his daughter and family met for lunch. He comes down about twice a year so we try to get together at a Cajun restaurant that is about in the middle.
When he got out of his truck he had a big brown bag in his hand and as he got closer I could read the name on the bag. It was a Jersey Mike’s bag. My all time favorite sandwich shop. The closest Jersey Mike’s is about 2 and a half hours away from where I live. I said wow let’s put it in the car and I will eat it for supper. He said he had called ahead and talked to the manager and was told it was okay to bring it in. When my wife and Tom got their food I opened the bag and there it was.... manna from heaven....... “The Big Kahuna “ Philly cheesesteak, double meat and double cheese. I could only eat half. Gonna have the other half for breakfast.
A very heart felt and stomach felt thank you Tom for making it a GREAT day!

Happy Birthday sir! Have a great day carving the mountain roads.

And yes, when it falls on it’s face..... that sucks!
I got pretty good at catching it a quickly letoff and punch it again but it still kind of a bummer
Yeah it sounds like you need the improved tune. I think when Bob got my ECU he flashed it and sent it back on the same day.
-
JoeF. when was the last time you had the re-flash? Mine would just about die and fall on its face every once in awhile when on some spirited shifting. Bob came out with an updated tune late last year. I have not had that or the hung revs since.
