I went to have the rack replaced and they couldn't find it or evidence that it was on an open repair order. One was ordered and will be in this week, but I'll be gone when

@funinthesun that explains why they did not call you to threaten loss of warranty. Glad to see you have a plan. You may not be leadin' the pack, but last place is a whole lot better than "DNF". Get it done!

It's nice color. It's going to make some have buyers remorse :D

100% agree with @Redspark on this one about buyer's remorse...

Customer spots "BLUE FLAME".... Ooooooohhhhh, pretty! Must have! Sure, me pay beau coup extra dollars for one off. Drive home happy! Nice in garage!
Open internet, Polaris Slingshot accessories.... NOTHING WORKS!

    Oooooooohhhhh, pretty....

Steering rack is done, again. Seems they forgot to clear the codes when zeroing out the steering sensor. Rack not painted black as the original. Steering is tight again. No rattles in the right front tie rod.

Fixed and ready for SSITS to be happening...

Think the next time I got under hood work, gonna peel the steering boots back and pack the steering shafts. Hard to wear out greased support bushings`

Dealer installed steering rack and ready to go. Jumped in and made one turn in the parking lot and traction control light illuminates. Maybe fluke. Do a reset. Try again. Trac control again. Now back in the shop and me sitting at Sonic. Lunch!

didn't you have steering issues as well?BugEater just posted that there is a digital wrench update 3.7 4/26/2016 that updates EPS calibration on 2015-2016 slings. Maybe dealer could do when you get your steering rack!

I had a faulty steering sensor shortly after the purchase. I occasionally get the "power steering drop out" with no codes or lights. But, I have the mefiburn from Bob on the ECM so this is something I need to check into.

The question that needs to be asked...

Does the new 3.7 digital wrench update just effect the steering parameters or does it re-flash all parameters? (Over-write my carburation flash)...

...and this is how it should be and we thank you.

Too many folks jump on forums with a new problem thread, get helpful advice, find a solution to that problem, and then fail to return the courtesy of a thank you and a reply of the fix.
This then leaves the thread hanging and the next person with the same problem scratching his watch and winding his @$$ wondering WTH.

    Kudo's to @rabtech, @MACAWS, and @gearhead.

    dat's how it's done! 8o

Yep, never wanted Dad to bring on the discipline. He would explain why we were about to recieve an education in life. He made sure we understood the reason, what he expected of us in the future, and what would not be tolerated. Any area of the backside from shoulder blade to back of knees was acceptable, but buttocks were most concentrated. If you put your hands up to defend, those were self-inflicted wounds and would always carry an extra whack to the backside. Depending on the offense, it was a belt or a switch (a willow-like limb from a tree). You knew it was gonna be bad if he sent you to the tree to get your own switch. His comment, "Get a good one or I will pick it out." Was never really sure of his reasoning for "picking our own"... if it was to allow us time to think about what we had done or to see what we were willing to accept as discipline... either way, it was always hard to see the limbs for the tears. You always knew when the talking was done when you heard him say, "This is gonna hurt me more than it does you." At the time as a child, that never made sense... then my kids enlightened me. I made my Dad cry and my kids made me cry. My Dad passed away from cancer in 1995, one year after I retired from the military and I had moved back to his home town. My Dad set the path for me, and with the help of friends and family, I have been walking that path since I was seventeen. Thank you Dad for every lesson I had to learn the hard way, love ya!
