Do you have any idea if this will work with corbin side bags?

I've tried 2 different double din radios in my sling. With the angle of the dash, you need a Trans reflective display, and a bright one at that, to see the screen. Next, I built a dash in which I installed a Jensen VX7012 with an adjustable screen angle. Sadly, when I got the angle low enough to mitigate the sun, I was kinda of looking at the backside of the screen.
I have now built a second dash that houses a Boss marine radio. This unit uses an lcd screen which can be viewed in sunlight. Next, I got a 7 inch optically bonded monitor that's installed in the stinger portion of my top. I use this for backup camera and rear view mirror by using two cameras in the SS tail and a video switch mounted in the stinger. On the windscreen support I mounted my Escort, an action cam and a Garmin Zumo 595 (which has the Trans reflective display and is readable in sunlight. The Marimekko radio is designed to mount in a standard 3" gauge hole so I had lots of room for switching. Almost all functions are now controlled from this switch panel, including a replacement on/off for the guard dog keyless ignition as a pb for the accessory switch. This is the best that I've come up with and so far, I'm happy with it. -
Checked with dealer - Polaris says ride after 3 hours setup. Dealer has to clock time finished with double nuts and bike must sit for 3 hours before release to customer. May take 24 hrs for full cure but only 3 to ride.
-
Your dealer needs a mechanic! Took mine in at 8:45 and rode out at 2:30. That's after the mandatory 3 hour cure time.

While we are looking for holes in the swingarm to plug... I was under my sling inspecting after installing the QA1 shocks and noticed that there are two brackets attached to the bottom of the swingarm to support the brake lines. Each brackets has a threaded hole and a positioning hole for the bracket locator tab. Took a piece of wire to probe the locator hole and of course, both go straight through to the SA cavity, one in the rear by the pivot shaft and one near the bearing end. Both are quite small, but this is a brand new SA and I'm not taking any chances. A little blue rtv in each hole is cheap piece of mind.

@Zx2sling Thank you kind Sir. I think I'll bring a full and half, just in case.

I will be sporting my fakest smallest skid lid and my wife will be also. And I will have my Racequip helmet at the track. I may also wear my ball cap and have my skid lid ready to flip on by ducking down.
Will a standard DOT full face suffice for laps or are there special helmet requirements on the track?

Ok. It was cold in November. @KayTwo do you have any days in October.
come on rab, mostly it was wind chill!

I hate traffic during this time... BUT, the BRP is such an AMAZING ride when the leaves are changing ~> dare I say majestic?! We really only need to watch it in the twisties ~> leafs + tires = slippy!
If you're on the BRP with the leaf lookers, don't worry about the twisties. Last time I tried it, we got all the way up to 30mph

I went outside and checked my replacement swing-arm. I have the 2 seals/grommets and also have the open screw hole. Guess I'll be hitting the hardware store tomorrow to get an M8x1.25 bolt to fill the hole.
Correction - Bolt is same as body bolt but they are M6X1
Sorry folks, had a brain fart. -
what size bolt will fit in that hole?
Same as the body bolts. M8 x 1.25.

@ericastar76 - When and where is the bbq?

@Dogs and I will be around from Wednesday but planning some riding around Murphy area also during the week. We will be there for Friday night. What can we bring to the party or chip in for the food?
-
Its on my calendar. Just go to Waffle King instead of Waffle House. Don't know what happened to WH, but its now devoid of customers. @Dogs says poor food and bad service.

Replaced mine a while ago. The wire tape broke and I lost the horn. No trouble to install, just don't pull the lock tab till you have it screwed down. Could have been covered under warranty but it was "on backorder".
Don't know why they used a clock spring instead of a pair of contact rings. Maybe on one of the future iterations, they plan on putting controls on the wheel - radio, cruise??
According to the parts store where I got the Dorman, they move a lot of these for jeeps and always keep one in stock!
Maybe Polaris saw another profit center. -
Done! She really has an eye.

That may just be the slings hood at the lower right of the photo. Expand the pix and you can see the slings motor.

Congrats on your beautiful new home! Great bennies in the area with a long riding season. You are only 2.5 to 3 hours from the dragon. Hope to see the two of you in NC for another ride. (It will be a much slower ride since the LEO's will be on the road instead of the road blocks) Don't get much sea spray though.

Interesting, I like it... Someone said they've seen something that went in the Console Area, some kind of a custom panel. I've searched around but haven't been able to come up with anything.
@funhouse69, don't know if this is what you are looking for but I built a replacement console when I got frustrated trying to control things separately with 4 switches. I ordered an SL console trim piece from Polaris to use as a pattern. This is a no going back project as almost all of the abs is removed save for a square section around the start switnch. I used that as the bottom anchor. If your interested, I'll be glad to supply as much info as I can. Also, I have installed a stinger roof and use the stinger center piece to hold my rear view monitor seen hanging in the center. I fab'd the bottom cover for the stinger from sheet abs and installed more switches and cabin lighting.

Congratulations to your daughter and to the parents that raised her!!
