10,008 after this past Sunday's ride.
I may not use my Slingshot as a daily driver,
But when I do drive it, hang on tight!Realize to that this is the land of the north, so it hibernates in the winter.

Saw Alpha's today, mounts to the back of the rollbars (one side of the rollbar each).
Looked great! -
Yep was good time and a beautiful day.

Minnesota moves forward with "AutoCycle"
Removes needing a Motorcycle Endorsement, SeatBelts will be mandatory (I should but like not wearing them). Mandatory Eye Protection. This Bill applies to the ELIO if it ever comes to fruition. Passed in the House 129-1, if the Senate doesn't change anything then I guess it's acceptable. The wife could drive it then and would not have to get the Motorcycle Endorsement.

I should mention maybe? I mentioned specifically Alpha because I live 'too damn close' according to my wife! So another brace mfg would work, but I do like theirs and it was a quick install.
-
I expected a boring noob video, was actually pretty funny.
-
While I was at Alpha yesterday, they installed their Brake Brace as I was whining about my pedal being mushy again, possibly needing to be bled again. I was going to put one on like a year ago, but they hadn't quite finished the production run yet.
Did not think that it would solve my problem or be that much of a difference to be honest, but Damn! Solid as a rock. So if you don't have one, I highly recommend it.
-
Better buy more rear tires! I think you are going to burn one off before getting a block down the street without trying!
-
Was a blast being there all afternoon with the Alpha crew taking care of some stuff for me.
The bonus was watching and listening to the tuning going on. Videos don't do it justice!Sidebar: MrWinn showed up as well and we got to put a face to a name. Told him about the site, so he should be showing up soon.

Yep, was weird, I think I did that Sunday or Monday, got the email from PayPal this morning that it cleared and then I checked the Donations tab and saw that. Never had one take so long to go thru. Glad it all worked out. Wife still wants to know if you are Jake from State Farm..

You're doing great! Tried teaching my son, he gave up. I feel so ashamed... Millennials..
My daughter though was a trooper and got-r-done!
-
As a motorcycle, I like $17.00 tabs, HOV lanes, etc.
-
Maybe just a drivers license, maybe 'AutoCycle'?

No motorcycle endorsement is ok, but don't want to see it reclassed as a 'AutoCycle'

I only have 7k on mine but never had an issue with the nut or bearing (Damn-it now I got to knock on some wood!).... Hope I haven't just doomed myself.
Not boasting just wondering WTH?.... Mine is #886 and would assume the early builds would have had the issue. Was there ever a finalized verdict or is still a screwed up issue?... Did the Zerk fitting ever get installed by anyone? Far to under the weather to go over to the other side and reseach.... Sorry.I've never heard about a 'bonified' real fix outside of getting Runmans swingarm
-
Sorry didn't mean to like it meant to reply.
Could be the relay - do the emergency flashers work?
I am trying to remember how Noel explained trouble shooting to figure out if it was the relay or flash module.Everything works fine after shutting it down and starting it back up.
Wierd. -
Nope, turn signals are stock. First time for that anomaly
-
PM me your PayPal address and password ...... I'll check it out for you ......
.Really? You would do that for me? Wife wants to know if this is Jake from State Farm?

Got home from work, 68 degrees, grabbed the wife and went for a ride. 4 blocks from home, flipped blinker on for my turn, made the turn, blinker arm resets, but now the blinker indicator is on solid. Blinkers are now non-functional, couldn't tell if the they were on (the turn signals) solid or not. Nothing I could do seem to clear it until I got a chance to pull over and shut down the SS, restart and now everything is fine. What the hell was that?
We finish by running over to my sister and brother-in-law for a quick visit and damn! (Hah! got a damn in so Bones doesn't get credit for this one!) For the first time since I've owned my Slingshot and 3 failed rear axle bearing sets and a completely replaced swingarm (5000 miles ago), my axle nut has moved! They loctite'd the hell out of this thing, now it decides to move?
Is it a hint or telltale that I may have another bearing failure coming? Mine is not double-nutted, hasn't had that upgrade yet, but it has never moved before either.
