This may sound stupid to some but, A gas cap NOT on tight, a bad rubber seal will cause a O2 check engine light. As far a I know there is no other codes that happen other than the O2. There are various You Tube videos about this.
BTW: This was the fix that was found for this issue on this thread. The gas cap that was installed had a bad rubber seal.A new gas cap was installed and the issue has cleared. No more codes or light.

I received a Coolant Tank from Slingmods that the powder coating was not around the filler cap. Emailed Slingmods and they replied and had DDM send me a replacement tank within 3 days. I would like to that Slingmods and DDM for all their great products and service. I have never had an issue that they could not resolve quickly. Couldn't ask for better people to buy from or work with.

    Thank you very much

Most of us have at one time or another removed the radio display unit. What I am trying to find out is this. There are 4 connection plugs on the back and only 2 are used.
Does anyone know or have and idea what the other 2 connection plugs are for?

@Roadhouse Looking at the latch, it looks like they switched the passenger side front latchassembly with the Drivers side assembly. The striker is quite long and would be able to work with that nicely. Just wanted to clarify that they did not just reverse the latches on each side, but reversed the whole latch assemblies. Thanks for your input into this problem of the hood latching system failure. All of our input is valuable info. This will also help with access to the cables in case the hood release fails to release the latches.

Sam, Each bracket is just turned around, they did not swap sides. The striker has no issues with the change to latch bracket. Also those rubber bumper stops in the picture by the windshield makes a huge difference. With them installed the rear latch bracket no longer get hit by hood and now no bouncing of the rear bracket.

Photo? Confused on which brackets to reverse?

These brackets are the located in the front on the left and right side. Will take a picture of bracket and post later. Also look at where the windshield slides into the holding slots. There is a hole there. Polaris has round rubber bumpers there also. They also made a big difference when you close the hood. It is now a solid point for the hood and the rear brackets do not move when closing. Close tight now. Will post pictures later today.

Thanks for sharing video. On my hood it was also rubbing the front latch bolts and you could hear it squeak. This was on the drivers side. On the 2017 models Polaris has turned the latch bracket around and using different latch mounting bolts. With that said I had the dealership turn the brackets around to match the 2017 models. What this did is move the location of where the latch and the striker meet. This made a big difference on releasing the front and much easier to open. Basicly it stopped any binding.

I have my hood aligned and all the spacing looks equal. But have a hard time opening. All my latches do release. What I hear is a rubbing noise (squeaking sound). Found the driver side front bracket rubbing the hood hinge and rub makes on the black plastic on the hood.
Any ideas on how to stop or correct this?

I use my SiriusXM radio right thru the radio. By a FM Direct Adapter for Sattellite Radio. Simple to install. Once installed you play you XM thru radio on 88.1... Works great.
