I have sooooo much footage! Great aerial shots of the fairgrounds, shots of all the slings, some great stuff with @Slingrazor and @FunCycle playing chase, and so much more... Running around like a mad man this week trying to get footage to Polaris and Guinness though... but I'll get some stuff posted up soon, I promise! Here is a link to the Sling Life FB page that has lots of stuff, for those who can see it... this was mostly stuff from my phone and I have so much more from the Go Pro Karma and the Drone.

Storm, we will have a great time probably depending on which roads we will be on, as to whether we ride at the pace we did in Kerrville or faster the road conditions are better up in this area so we will be able to ride a bit harder it will be a great time!! are you going to have a sling to drive or you riding with @DKF Texas? Besides hopefully we will get @FunCycle to lead us on one he's a badass driver i was telling you about in texas..

Cool, yeah some of those roads in Texas were sketchy on the edges with all the dirt and loose gravel, so good to know we won't have that extra unnecessary excitement... I will have a sling to drive... I'm familiar with my own, so I'll have to learn the differences pretty quick, but should be alright. I think I'll have a wider rear tire this time, crossing my fingers for better suspension too... Maybe I won't put my hands up in the air on the hills and drops this time, ya know, to "keep me safe". lol

Hmmm "keeping me safe" and "ride my own ride" sound kinda boring. lol. But thanks for looking out, and great advice for anyone riding these roads for the first time. If I rode my own ride, I'd probably ride right off a cliff... so I need someone experienced in front of me to help me know when to slow it down, just as much to help me know how fast I really can take the next corner. You never know your limits, unless you continuously push them. Can't frikkin wait!

Enjoy the ride...but be cautious of the guys that go fast...some go WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY fast. Some great Slingshot drivers will be in MV. The roads in the Smokes have some twisties...that make Texas look smooth and straight.

Hmmm, not sure of the scientific difference between "fast" and "WAAAAAAAY" fast.... but I guess I'll figure it out! :) I'm new to this kinda riding, but I'm pretty fearless (to my own detriment), so I'll be looking to @j4henry and @DKF Texas to help me figure out what I can handle and can't handle... But if I see the person in front of me taking a turn at a certain speed, I'm damn sure gonna try to match em.

Hey! I live not to far from Katy as well, just north in Cypress. My Slingshot is actually sitting in a shop near Katy Mills Mall getting some upgrades now, or I'd stop by and take you for a ride. Tons of fun! We have at least a few other in the Katy area as well. This video right here was mostly shot in Katy, at Katy Mills Mall, LaCenterra Cinco Ranch, and Westgreen and I-10. Houston has one of the best rider groups in the country, extremely diverse group. As Danna said, try to hook up with us during the weekend of March 30th.... Meet us on Saturday at Mancuso Gulf Freeway for the cookout, and we cruise to Galveston afterwards. You can have my passenger seat, unless some random hot chick steals it before you... what a hassle... :)

Ok I will try to get some closer pics tonight when I get home. It was done by a local lighting shop here in Houston called LEDs of Texas.

First time using the mobile app so hope these pics come through... a single wire with three "light pods" which have 3 leds each... wire runs out the back of the first slot and into engine bay to a little control board... hope this helps, hard to get good pics

Sent from my SM-G920V using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app

Thanks for posting this @MiM, I meant to do it... If anyone is interested in how this is wired up, I can take more pics. The lights are also hooked up to my parking lights, so they stay on solid red while the ignition is on, then sequentially flash when the turn signals are on. Done by LEDs of Texas. Not sure about the controller part and how it's soldiered and water proofed, but I can show the type of lights that he used and where he ran the wires.

Yeah well I seen another red one today. I'm sure I had mine first so he copied me. I see Polaris has the same green so they copied you and him? Who came first?

Yeah, I had @MiM's back... even messaged the guy to ask what his problem was... I was ready to meet him on the playground! lol

Ok I went back and dug up the notes from Henry, for anyone else that might be experiencing a rattle with the Alpha Variable exhaust. I tried to take a video of the sound, then he responded with this.
