  • Canadian headlight wiring plug

    I am thinking about adding headlights using the Canadian headlight plug already wired in but not being used.


    I looked and did not see this covered anywhere.


    Will I need to add a fuse or will I just be able to plug into it and not overload the current (stock) setup. This is on a 2016 LE.


    Also, what info does anyone have on the plug? What brand, source? Or would I be best off splicing a new plug onto it?

  • Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

This was actually my first ride out on the wet roads with my front fenders removed and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised that having them removed didnt cause any problems at all. I was expecting that I might get a bunch of dirt and crap sprayed up onto the sides of the tub in the area that the fenders would have normally shielded, but got home and it was still pretty damn clean.


    Edward Neal did you pull the fenders you were testing? Was there a problem with them?

    Thank you. I'm near OKC. I have a request pending for that group and Oklahoma SS Riders. Every once in a while I see a big group meet at the OnCue in Moore on I35. Hoping to hook up and learn stuff.


    I plan on keeping it simple. Definitely getting the convex mirrors. I saw someone had posted a DIY cup holder using a rubber hose coupler. Might see if I can figure that out this weekend. Canvas top will be coming down the road at some point.
