This storm is moving so slowly. The eastern side of NC and SC are going to see massive flooding. It’s relatively flat ground that was already saturated from summer storms.
In Charlotte area, we are now getting steady rains from the north western bands of the storm. Still saying 5”-8” expected.
Winds have calmed quite a bit. i have not had any power issues but many others have.
Planes are taking off from the airport so it’s not too bad here.

@ericastar76 has already lost power. I saw a post from her on FaceBook. Hoping she stays safe, and that she stays in touch so we know she is OK.
Wow. North side of Charlotte still with power. Just had our first decent rain.

Sounds like a fun ride. Have a great time and safe travels.
Take pics and post here.
Has been 30 years since I last visited NH. Hard to believe.

@ulflyer - let us know how you are doing. Looks like you are in the area for heavy rains and flooding. Hope you are on some high ground

What was you route during this event?

I have been using the K&N PS-7000 oil filter. Hopefully the link works.

It sounds as though that several have more HP to offer in order to push past the poor aero design and improve on max speed.
Both guys talked about the management of traction in take off and throughout the run.
And both talked about the handling getting squirrelly and light at the end of runs.
The issue also becomes downforce (or reducing lift) at the higher speeds to keep the wheels connected to the pavement. Otherwise it will be like driving on water.
Be safe in this quest.

2200 miles - getting close to oil change time.
What a trip. Stay safe and enjoy the luggage racks.

I have had a few instances where the LEDs would turn on on their own or not turn off when I turn off the ignition.
For me, the cause seems to be a lose wire for that halo wiring in the auxiliary fuse box.

Don't worry @lrobbi we have some love coming for the supercharger kits after Maggie Valley this year, Mr.Bob is coming back with us for a couple long days on the dyno
Yeap, we did a lot with the tune for the supercharger. The new tune we worked on for awhile to make the power more linear for both the turbo and supercharger kit. Also, worked on and hopefully fixed some of the throttle hanging issues that people were seeing with naturally aspirated and forced induction setups and finally did testing on the cams for the supercharger and finished a tune for that also. We tested a lot of things while Bob was here, long days but the new tunes are REALLY smooth.[/quote]
For those of us with the DDM SC and the existing tune, how do we get the updated tune?

When I turn up the music and the bass kicks in, my mirrors vibrate - and I like it!

A bit chilly for July in the Carolinas. Absolutely beautiful this morning.

Automatic transmission and stereo equipment / mods will add a good bit.

Can you use electrical tape to keep it together so the next time a big foot pokes the wire it doesn’t come apart?

Someone mentioned the number of Slings with roofs - no kidding! Wow!

Dang it...will be out of town for work that week so won’t make it.
Be safe and have fun.
