Happy birthday fellow libras ! ! !
We keep this world balanced. . .
And to the naughty posters of the beautiful women. . . Thank you . Thank you . . . So much. . .

No wrenching tonight . . . Fall festival at my school with my oldest . . . Now putting them to bed.
-
Down a quart !
-
That's awesome Larry ! Always rocking the hair do. . .
-
Thanks @Goats_Hogs, Bryan and Painter! Last resort tonight. . . Approached it much more calmly yesterday than the first night. . .
This will be it.
-
Thanks @BryanL! I've been hitting it with a rubber mallet pretty hard as well because I don't want to scratch the hub. . . It's supposed to be going to someone else. . . But I'll try that again once I get the grade 8 stuff Slingrazor mentioned.
@WOLF, that definitely seems like the last resort, but if it comes to that, I'll just leave the damn assault hub on. . . Thanks anyway for chiming in! Need all the help I can get.

Explain "how" you've "had them" @funinthesun. . . And... Pictures or it didn't happen !
Depending on who they were , what they did , and how they looked, I could "do" many wives. . . But don't tell my wife that!

Yes folks, this is the same metal used in the swingarms!
Probably not true, but could be, and hopefully I have your attention...
So as I continue to struggle with my Assault hub, a locking washer from the steering height lever just crumbled into three pieces. See pictures.
Does anyone have a wrecked slingshot that I could have this tiny piece from? If not, how could I order it? Looking at the parts finder, I can't seem to locate the height adjustment system, let alone if they sell this little nut separately.
That nut goes in between the others on the left of the assembly in the picture below.
-
Will do @Slingrazor. . . Grade 8, huh? Hope they are strong enough, just snapped another fastener!
And it happened as I was trying the double washer method... Washers faired better this time.
-
I've wd 40 the heck out of it! I know I said I'd give up, but damn if I can't understand this. . .
The hub wasn't moving, the washers were. . . Bending! And a screw snapped! What luck is this?
-
Thanks @Ross! But what could the difference be? This puller seems strong enough and like it fits, but the hub just ain't moving !
-
I'm worried I keep turning and the heads of the bolts are going to snap off and shoot me in the face! Or worse, mess up my Sling!
-
Thanks for asking @TheRock! No! ! !
What am I missing guys? Could this thing have some other bolt? Seriously ? WTF !
The locking nut is loose because I can still squeeze my fingers in and turn that, but look at my makeshift washers! They are bending! These were the only bolts I had long enough to work with this puller and mount to the hub. . . Any other options?
Please!
@MACAWS, @Painter, @funinthesun, @BryanL? ? ?

Yall have my attention again...
I get more complaints about you than anyone.... Wait.... I DON'T GET COMPLAINTS ON ANYONE EXCEPT YOU....
Oh thank goodness . . .
-
If the hub is that tight I'm destined to have an assault hub and no quick release. . . I will give up!
And I hope a forever sharp hub will be okay for the recipient who was supposed to get the assault hub . . .

Some of us can be proud!
Definitely so! Especially if she means an extra 3 inches. . .
