As long as you're not going to go too heavy (>25 amps), just get the FZ-1 Fuse Block from Slingmods. It's switchable to ignition, or not, by circuit and has 6 circuits. While you are there, you can pick up a couple Otto K1 switches to run whatever you need. And if you're really crazy, you can check out my thread on the Otto K1 Switches about getting some specialty switches
Thanks the FZ1 was what is was looking at but just wasn’t sure. Assuming the K1 switch will fit into the slots with no issues? So when I make up my mind on lights (hopefully before long). guess I’ll be reaching out again if any issues with wiring. Thanks.

Once again needing some experienced advice. I am going to add some type of lighting on the inside of the sling. Don’t know if it will be LED strips under dash or block light or what at this point. Want to be able to see when I get in a night to put the key in the ignition. Tried small flashlight, keep fumbling around trying to find it. I have what appears to be 2 open slots for rocker switches above the hazard light.
After doing some reading suggestion is to add an accessory fuse block since the main is crammed full already from factory. Which have you used and recommend. Anything else that I need to consider. Was thinking about mounting it next to the main fuse block in the engine compartment. -
What year SS? I have a small LED flashlight in the console and my 2020 R has the floor led lighting.

Doing some reading and all post on this were several years old so. 1st nighttime ride was this last Saturday. Headlights weren’t bad and better than I expected. I know that a lot of this is personal preference but do they make that big of a difference to warrant changing. If so which do you recommend?
Also noticed no light to speak of on the inside except for gauges with are no help when fumbling around. Not to keen on led light strips at this moment. Any other suggestions, what are people doing to give some light to the inside when needed. Thanks in advance.

If you add RAM balls to your windshield center brace you can attach multiple different things including a cell phone.
I actually thought about that but the center support on mine isn’t threaded. Didn’t know if there was a different mount

actually in an attempt at full disclosure I almost never actually use my phone mount. I am an Apple Watch user and I find using it for navigation is preferable to the phone - - I find it hard to hear the turn aleart from the phone and I don't like having to look at the phone to see when the next turn is coming up. with the watch it gives me a tap on the wrist when its time to turn and its easy to glance at the watch face to see how far to the next turn and if it will be right or left
Don't really use the phone for anything else when in the slingshot especially since removing the pedal commander never actually call anyone from in the slingshot and couldn't hear them if I did
I use my phone for navigation for music streaming while traveling. I used my watch some yesterday but maps streams thru the ride command so hearing it is no issue.

Powelldb1 Just wondering how many times you’ve taken out the trash made an excuse to go out to the garage and if you still have that grin on your face😜
Actually been smiling all day. Picked it up about 6This evening. Leaving at 7:30 in the morning for 8 hr trek back. Sure that I’ll still be grinning ear to ear

Road trip to Dallas on Wednesday. Picking her up and driving her back. 8 hrs one way on the first trip. Should be a blast. Temps in the high 70’s. Again thanks to all for the direction and advice.

DFW is a big area......what part of town is it in?

Looks like a chance on a Sling that I have been looking at online. I’m 8 hrs away but wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to put eyes on it and give me there opinion. Text me or give me a call or send me a message.
Also want to say thanks to everyone for the advice on the previous thread I had. Knowledge is invaluable and everyone truly helps out. Thanks

Sometimes 'Facebook' people are SLOW to respond. I was going to look at one in Port Charlotte, FL last week but they did not respond --- I had to get back to the COLD North.
just received message from them and it’s still available. Anyone in the Dallas/Ft worth area that may be willing to put an eye on it for me. -
Make an offer!!!!
I did just haven’t heard back yet.......Patiently waiting.

The biggest drawback to the S model is the roll hoops are not the same design as the roll hoops used on the other models and do not support the use of a top or luggage racks. If you want the standard roll hoops to handle a top, it will cost around $930 or so, depending on where you buy them.
That said, if I were buying a 2021 Slingshot, I'd most likely go for the S model with the Performance Tune to get the same performance the R model has at a $10K savings. Even going with the S AutoDrive and adding the Paddle Shifters and the Perforfmance Tune, the price is still only around $23K or so and still leaves money left over for a sound system and other mods.
see this is exactly why I ask questions. One thing that I want is a top for the South Mississippi sun. So assuming that you are saying that it would cost me somewhere in the neighborhood of 2k to have a canvas top on the S model because of the tool hoops?
