Wow bummer.
My police story was good. Going 65 to 70 on back roads passed a state va cop on back roads heading north bound he was coming at me in a 50 mph zone. Didn't turn around
Lucky me. Maybe cause i was 1 mile from state line.
Home from vacation.
1165 miles this week and weekend.
26.4 mpg. Not bad since i was going 80 to 85 the whole way home. Was really surprised by this pickup who thru some tight turns on the back roads kept up with the sling. Was double the posted speed on curves.
Straight home. No rain. Great weather after i crossed out of Virginia.
Thanks to all involved in the event. Great time.
Back home now. Dry drive home. Cold cloudy start then fog.
Then sunshine half way home.
At the movies. Cool time
Wish ... but couldn't carry into Washington DC. Sigh
Yeah dry night for the movie?
Ivor coming. Uh oh. Lol
Make sure they check your brake calipers. My seals were leaking. Might have caused the issue of the brake light. Also had them change sensors
That seems a little....pushy? Don't know how I'd react to that, maybe.
Exactly. Guy was from Ethiopia here one year. Nice guy. He lied and said he drove one before. He didn't know how to start it.
But i went along to make sure he drove it NOT like he stole it.
He did good. No problems. Then i covered the sling and we walked back 2 blocks to hotel.
He said when you want to pick up jar tell them your will get it.
Hit slow light rain for first hour then drizzle. Then dry last 3.5 hours.
Good ride into dc. Valet parking insisted on driving slingshot. So i rode along as passenger.
Looks awesome can't wait
It is according to the brand of tire. My Kenda wore flat all the way across at the pressure Polaris said to run. The BFG Comp with the 30 something pressure cupped in the center so I dropped to 26 psi and the trip to SSITS16 leveled it all the way across. Now the General g-Max I started at 28 psi and aftr about 6,000 miles everything looks good.
what did you think @FunCycle of the BFG Comp? thats an ultra all season tire right? thinking of going to that on the rear in a 305/R22 wheel in the back. right now started with a 305 TOYO tire ultra all season. but the BFG Comp looks similar performance but cheaper price.
min was loose so they replaced under warranty ... they got the parts in about a week or two while i was waiting for warranty rear spocket.
it was borderline but I had them replace since it was in the shop already waiting anyway... needed both upper ...
what should I look for to know when they start going bad?
Depends on if you have the new double nut with the strong loctite
Display More.
Welllll .... mine required a torch and Porta Power to break it loose necessitating Polaris replace the $350 sprocket, $180 axle, and $80 worth of bearings which is why I let the dealer take the torch to it after it wouldn't budge with generous application of my high power heat gun ..... so I wouldn't go pounding on it ....
If it will not separate with reasonable heat and force my advise would be to let your dealer remove it the first time ....
.
Same exactly. Sprocket took 3 weeks to get
Plus the stickers will make you go faster mytoy. Lol
Safe travels everyone.
I put on new wheels last night so getting ready myself for trip to Washington DC then to the event.
