Here are pics of the Wink mirror mounts on my Twist top. Having that mirror is perhaps the most useful of the many mods I have done. A couple of angle brackets bent to match the pipe angles and two worm gear hose clamps. A couple of wraps of black electrical tape around the pipe to prevent the clamps from scuffing the powder coat would be good.
What length mirror did you use?
For those who have installed the alpha header what is the install like. Do you have to remove the side panel and muffler or can you just replace the header if your not changing the stock muffler yet? Hope my stock muffler blows up so I have no choice but to tell the wife I have to 'fix it'. Mine came yesterday and the wife is already complaining about my kitchen decorating choices.
Can anyone post up how the added a rear view mirror to the twist top or speaker pods? Any other accessories installed on your tops?

Might have been me, I know I asked the same question on the skid plate on 3 different threads if it would cause a heat problem when the the radiator shroud first came out and never got a response. The quietness led me to believe it was a problem and it turned out to be correct.
That's my concern and the reason I won't be installing one. It obviously cuts down on the airflow to the radiator by what looks to be 1/3 of the grills surface area.
I call it so much fun it feels like I doing something illegal. That being said down on my end of the twisted road it's titled a motorcycle.

Florida doesn't offer cheaper tolls to motorcycles other then the same usage discount applied to all vehicles. I have been using my sunpass sticker for the past few weeks and it has been working. For what its worth I didn't stick it to the windshield, I left the backing tape on it and slid it under the cockpit side of the madstad on top of the dash. Either that or some register with sunpass and use 'pay by plate'.

Meh, who cares. I have lived long enough to not care about what others think about me. If they are truly hardcore motor heads how could they not love the slingshot?

Here are pictures of the heat shield I had installed on mine, they are from Polaris. It makes a big difference according to my wife.
Plus that shielding runs the length underneath on the passenger side transmission tunnel.
