@WingShot who's your service provider? I know they all have different promotions. Ours is Verizon and I believe it was $150/phone if I recall correctly and the measly trade in if we went did that as well.
I have Sprint.

Just a lil sample of what I believe the OP is referring, these are the various choices we have for our "car":
OK, none are adjustable, but, still a major cost difference compared to the SlingShot??
Bill
Here is another choice Bill.
KSport® CVW040-ASO - Volkswagen Jetta 2001 Airtech Front and Rear Air Strut Assemblies
The slingshot numbers are so small that we are limited to companies that want to invest with little return.

This question comes up often for the new riders, my answer would be how much can your back or wallet stand?
I went with ALPHA / JRI adjustable back in 2/15 when they came out and would do it again.
Do you want the best performance that can be dialed in for comfort daily driving or do you want the back beater oem that are barely a basic shock.
The JRI are the only shock designed for the slingshot, not just a converted shock choice like QA1, the testing results back up what I'm saying, and not saying QA1 are not good, just a comparison as many guys use them.
The rebuild-able shock can be put back to its best condition where as oem just get tossed. The JRI at its worst is way better than oem brand new.
Its a very expensive decision, and if your not hitting the twisties hard then you don't need performance shocks, but if you want a smoother less jarring daily driver then a custom set up is required. I like the adjustable so I can dial it in the way I want it, when I want it.

Dustin I definitely plan to put my SC in my new one. Loved it on the 2015 yellow lemon. The SS has too many issues. The DDM SC is great. I will be having Dave and team put it back in at MV and since @dangerdarrell got one I am going to a smaller pulley so I can still be faster!!
So now we know why you painted it yellow.

Last year I was getting my front door replaced a couple days after Halloween. So I put on a hoodie and a Jason mask got my ax from the garage and the wife was passing out candy from a chair sitting about 10 ft from the door. As the kids would come up to her for candy I would open the door and step out with the ax and stick the ax into the door. The screams were great. Now I didn’t scare the small ones.

“72 hour wait”... F’ing Illinois!!!
It does suck! The thing is when you order and pay for it to be shipped to the FFL they don't count the shipping time, so it was 6 day wait.
