Mitch, so sorry to see that you have to cancel the event after all the work that went into getting this to happen during these "restricted" times. Hope you're able to come up with a viable date to still make it happen. I might not be there, but I'm still pulling for you guys to have a great time together

Dang, I must not have had enough sleep last night. I saw this thread and thought it said OTTER Rides. I haven't heard from him for a while and was wondering what he was up to. Oh well, maybe it's time to invest in a pair of glasses as well

Sweet pics there Dean. But what is that black thing with the lines under the fender? I haven't seen a rear tire with tread on it for a LONG time

I can't imagine why?
OH wait they both have 3 wheels
Does the Track Hammer fit a Cessna too?

Personally, I wouldn't trust the miles left display if the injectors were changed. The Miles left and MPG numbers my Slingshot showed after I added a turbo were way off. I know I can get around 225 miles from a tank and always try to fill-up before I get much under 1/4 tank left.
If I remember correctly, Dave@DDMworks was working on being able to make that change in the ecu program

That looks like a Bill Martin paint job

Its all in the prep -- make sure the surfaces you are putt0mh adhesive on are scuffed up and not shinny
I hope the prep isn't like the one I had to do before my last colonoscopy

Funny thing is the Hardman Yellow that I would need is only like $6.00. Almost as much as the shipping. Might be worth having one on hand. I'm sure this won't be the only thing that breaks over the rest of my life - unless that's coming up sooner than I'm hoping for.

I'f used the aluminum weld to repair a broken transmission case many years ago. It held fine and there was a LOT of stress on that part. If I can't find any of Tripods Hardman stuff, I'll be using the JB Weld. I'll let you guys know.
Thanks for all the input especially on a holiday

You could probably do something in the storage bins behind the seats, but it wouldn't be safe in an accident. Having fuel spilled into the cabin and no fire wall isn't worth the risk just so you don't have to stop every 200 miles of riding to tank up
-
I guess I should have done an online search to see what's out there. Here's one test comparison of a few products on different materials. Looks like overall the JB Weld is the best overall as well as being the cheapest price tested.
Thanks for all the suggestions

He probably just logs on to see who or how many people are trash talking him.

Never tried that, but I did see it action once. it did seem to work.
