Got my stage 1 installed...just what the doctor ordered! Wife hates the exhaust! Talking with Dave, he said guys route the exhaust out the side, by adding some piping to the included muffler. Hoping someone who has done this can post up a pic ot 2? I need to tell the exhaust shop what to do.

Hello all. Tried searching, no joy. Replacing my clockspring (horn quit and getting lots of snap crackle & pop with wheel turning) with the Dorman 525-108 as suggested by a few threads I found. I was looking for some install instructions, ideally a video, but found nothing.

I know I have to cut off the plug and put on spades. There's no positive/negative here right? Just closing an electrical loop.

I'm assuming I'll know how the new one goes in once I get the old one out and I've read not to pull that little tab out until it's in. Anything else I should know?

I had put on an NRG wheel with DDMworks hub a few months ago and am guessing I might have over tightened it...but the wheel wants to turn when installing the nut so it was difficult to get the torque right.

    Thanks! and ride safe.

sorry, I'm sure this has been covered, but the r888r has 305/35/20 or 315/30/20. I have the stock wheel. Is there a benefit from 1 vs the other?

The search function only give me old news. I'm looking to upgrade my SLR to performance tires, emphasis on traction. I ran toyo r888r on my car and love them, but understand that's not a good idea for the rear? Asymmetrical rears are bad...but not sure I understand why. Rain/weather isn't a concern, I'm in the dessert, but it does need to handle so DRs are out. What's out there? Thanks.

I've learned to always call my order in. If they have it, I get it in 2 or 3 days. If they don't or if they are essentially reselling something from another source...it can take weeks. You can't tell while shopping online but call them and they're happy to tell you.

Hello all. I read the threads on aftermarket steering wheels, but not really finding the info I'm looking for. I'd like to go to a D ring, but more importantly, I'm looking for wheel that has a little give in the grip, if that makes sense. My stocker is rock hard and I prefer a wheel that has a little sponginess feel to it, like my car. Any recommendations? Anything out there? Thanks.

I'll call TRICLED on Monday to ask. Both my TRICLED and speaker lights are wired hot and both work via RF remotes, but I can turn the speaker lights on via the switch but have to use the remote for the TRICLEDs. I'm assuming it's something in the receiver that's set to turn them off when power is lost. I don't know, but sure wish I could use the switch.

I put in some kicker speakers with LED lighting. Rather that use the remote, I put in a rocker switch to turn them on and off. Works great. So I added a switch to my TRICLED LED lights, but it doesn't work as desired. I can turn them off with the switch, but when I turn the switch back on...nothing. I have to turn them on again with the remote. I don't understand why this works with the speaker lights but not the others. What gives and more importantly, is there a way to make this work? Thanks!

It's a 4 wire relay, as you suspected. Looking at the top of the fuse box, the resulting install is going to be ugly. You have to put the holes almost on top, and they won't be small. I suppose I can put something on them to keep it close to tight, but I wonder how I'll be able to take the top on and off if needed.

I'm thinking you could dramatically reduce the size of the holes needed by removing the loom and the plugs from the wires. Drill a small hole, put the wires through the top and reattach the plug on the other side. Course, sounds like I could have just bought the parts and done it myself at that point. Going to have to stare at it some more...

I've made a couple mods/purchases that I regretted, but those were poor decisions rather than poor products. The one thing I really don't care for so far is the Slinglines dual cup holder (https://www.slingmods.com/pola…visor?search=cup%20holder). It looks cheap = the plastic has a glossy/cheap-looking finish. The cup holders themselves are too shallow, so you're worried anything but a soda can is going to fall right out of it. To add insult to injury, I'm tall so the sunshade for the screen that I thought I'd like, blocks the top of the screen from view....I use it to stuff my gloves in.

    Hello all!

Did some searching and couldn't find anything. Looking for install video or clearer instructions than the confusing 2 page instruction sheet on Slingmods for the tricled V2 headlight bypass (I have 2018). Thanks.
