Barely had it a week and already have a problem. The ESP light came on solid, which according to the manual means a failure. I also have a whining sound coming from the right side at low speeds when I hit the gas pedal. Related? Is it safe to drive so I can get it someplace for service? (2019 SLR.)
On that note, does anyone know of a place to take it for service a bit closer to the Upper Valley (NH?) Hooksett is an hour ride from Newport.

Come on Glenn - you know the drill in NH #1) if you don't like the weather wait five minutes and it will change AND never take the plow off the truck until the 4th of July! ( I grew up ( so to speak ) in Durham)

Oh, absolutely. I rode an ST-1100 for years. When it would snow in April, people would blame me for taking the bike out of winter storage too soon.

New NH owner here! Just took ownership of a 2019 SLR from HK Powersports in Hooksett NH. Weather has been a bit raw, so not a lot of flight time on it, but it's been a blast what little I have done. Mostly just local around town stuff but man is it fun to drive. Just registered it yesterday - $570! OUCH! Worth it though. I used to ride an ST, but due to various reasons I can't straddle the saddle anymore. At least a SS will let me get out there.
