I really have no interest in building something that is proven to have design flaws or issues. Isn’t that what everyone is complaining about the butterfly no longer works or rattles. The easiest way to quieten exhaust noise down is by putting two small of outlet. It does quiet down but it builds excessive heat when you do that. And I’m sure everyone who had that exhaust Sometime or another got into the throttle with the valve closed so what you’ve done is built a fire with no where for it to go. That little electric motor cannot withstand 1300° that’s why the screws loosened. That’s why rattled that’s why there were issues. In my opinion the only successful way to implement a valve in the exhaust system is in doing so through vacuum assist or manually connect to your throttle when you get in the gas It automatically opens whether you ask it to or not. There will still be issues and a lot of trial and error to get that right. You ever heard the phrase there are no free lunches this is a classic example of that. This is basically the balance act of Designing an exhaust system. I could give you something that was so quiet you think it was electric but it would be hard on your engine making something that is quite yet still performs is what you pay for when you buy a Welter. You’re paying for our combination of efficient muffler designs Which cancels different frequencies without sacrificing flow. And if you fill out the form on our website of what is important to you in an exhaust system I can probably match one to your needs that will last.

Good market here to help out all those who have cut a hole in their side panel. If you make an exhaust that exits through the same location it will sell.
That being said, I loved my XXXXX Side Exit, but I would never go back to it after running the Welter Stealth with the SC.
Anything Jeff comes up with will be better than what took up the space before. (No pressure here :POKESS: )

I totally agree. I still feel that the rear exit is a much more pleasant driving experience. But if a side exit fits a persons needs or wants my intention is to give them a reliable piece to fulfill their need.

Ps I’m not posting prices because I don’t know what I can build them for yet. But I will give you a quote via text message if you answer these questions. I’m not building to specific muffler request your looking for. I will be building what I feel best suits your needs and wants baised on your questionnaire answers. If you don’t like what I build you then you get your money back.

Wrapping stainless steel especially thin or stainless from China can cause the stainless to split from the excessive heat caused from not allowing it to dissipate. We use the aluminized on the majority of our systems because we do wrap some of the pipes and the aluminized being a softer metal I felt the likelihood of a system splitting and melting the plastic of somebody’s slingshot to be less of a likelihood. It’s the same material used in today’s new cars. The stuff just last. The reason it is not wrapped from end to end is because if you do so as soon as it gets to the hanger the heat runs out the hanger and will melt your high temp red rubber grommet That keeps your exhaust from vibrating. Moral of the story don’t wrap anymore than what is already wrapped as we ship it or you will induce problems. As far as wrap causing rust. Water boils 212 F so pretty much anytime the engine is running it’s hot enough to turn it directly to steam. And as far as getting wet while it’s not running well you get the point

If you have a 2 1/2 inch system then the inserts they came with your system should be
1 3/4 " diameter baffles. Fitted for boosted applications. Naturally aspirated baffles should be 1 1/2" diameter. Anything larger than that and it is actually becoming a megaphone as those sizes will flow with the pipe backbone will flow thus they're not a restriction. They simply make the mufflers on the back do their job. Running no baffles at all is without a question acting a a megaphone!

With our patent pending transmission mount the height is exactly the same as stock. It only requires swapping the two out to be able to go to the 2 1/2 exhaust. The only transmission jacking going on is to get one out and put the other one back into place. Simply jack rear of tranny up 1/2 inch (motor mounts allow it to flex that much) take stock off and replace with ours and you're done!
